Couldn't agree more. We are being asked to step up and work for the money and prove we are behind it. Given we approached him for help I don't think it's much to ask from him
-
They are watching cadden. Spoke with Darren Jackson recently and he rates cadden and wants him at Blackburn
-
I suspect that's all we have been offered and he's frustrated we are not accepting that hence this little announcement
-
In terms of players being added up top, if things were to remain the same what would you buy to compliment what we have at the moment I.e., small and tricky forward like McDonald Strong centre forward type like higdon Fast player to run off a centre forward type? Interested to know what people or more specifically who folk would go for? The way I see it is we have Bowman- typical old fashioned centre forward type Fisher/tanner- appear to be reasonable link up players Moult- has a bit of both about him Intrigued as to who we could go for that would compliment any of the above up front Either way another forward/winger and defender in my opinion is crucial for the season ahead. Can only see 1 maybe 2 out of that coming in tho

Absolutely superb! What a talent! Should be very proud of that! -
No one will be interested if he's not seen! And to be fair what other options did we have?
-
Sad that his time here was a complete waste of time for both him and the club but glad he's out the door and we have a chance of bringing in a player or 2 that has an opportunity of making more of an impact or even contribution to what he did in his entire time with us. My prediction is bowman out next with a defender, forward and another wee guy coming in on loan

Will leave the full match analysis to those who are better at writing it up however quick overview from my point of view was 1) overall if we play to how we played today we will be fine 2) team looks like it needs a bit more time to gell 3)impressed by the debutants. early signs to me show they are an improvement on who we moved on 4) I think kipre could be a find 5) we are still 2-3 players short of a decent squad -
I think there's something in that, I know from speaking to Darren Jackson (currently scouting for blackburn) that they are also interested in him. Seems to have quite a few admirers down south at the moment
-
Completely agree mate
-
Or without blyth/bowman leaving we couldn't use the 4th space we have for Erwin and leave the chance of not getting the pacy forward we are after
-
Wasn't aware it was in the papers Patrick were in for him before he went to Oldham on loan and came back in for him in for him at the end of the last season Apologies if you were already aware of that from the papers, didn't realise people still read newspapers in 2017
-
Patrick are one of the clubs interested from what Iv been told

Could as easily be 3 at the back with McMillan playing wing back -
Confirmed he has signed for Utd
-
From speaking to both hammy and craggs they have high high hopes for Semple . Wouldn't be surprised to see him in a first team squad very soon if he keeps going the way he's going Not saying he will play in the first team but I can see them letting him be part of the first team environment for a game that suits to give him a taste

Exactly at the end of the day he is gone in my mind So the more suiters we have for him and the more bids that can be made the better, gives us more money to get in replacements/ increase contracts for players like McHugh who we don't want to lose and gives us time to get ready for the season ahead -
Heard the same, apparently he was annoyed Robinson wouldn't give him a 2yr deal rather than the 1 yr he was entitled to, hence why he walked away Think you will find that's what he doesn't like about robbo. Couldn't afford 2years on the money he was on
-
Where are you seeing that?
-
I was told from a good source he was approached to go on love island, wouldn't surprise me to see him do a reality programme, seems to be pals with every reality star going
-
Like a fellow poster said it's not something you want your kids to see when they look up to these players It's best for both parties he moves on, so if this little debacle allows him to see that, being paid for the next 6months to allow him to move back down south would be in his best interests at the very least it will allow us to claw back 6months wages post Jan That saving along with doms wage could go towards someone who can do us a turn even on loan for the next few months
