And what aliar Mr Brown is. What could Aberdeen have offered that would have changed Brown's mind?
-
You have. Royally shafted too. PS> Anybody heard anything from Archie Knox?
-
Go back to the top of this thread please. How much of a wan--r must 'Flow and the rest of the Motherwell boys feel after this wee shit has stitched us up? Puts out a statement which now translates as 'gees mare munny', never includes JB (good for him), and then rides off into the sunset with his red tinted glasses and a nice wedge and laughing at the sad feckers who believed his original statement. Sad wee man. Cannae wait for his come uppance!
-
Relax. He's gone. Lets close this discussion and concentrate on his successor and all the good things we have to look forward to. Mon the 'well.
-
Nothing demented about him. Calculating wee chunt who sees a chance for personal gain. So much for respect and integrity. Cannae wait to hear the crap he spouts about his reasons for moving. Lying little F----r.
-
Should have told him to GTF at the first sign. Watch the wee bar steward try to steal our players now. He has previous. Sick at the thought of him and his shite patter.
-
Why wait? Any time a manager announces he is thinking of leaving it usually means his time is up one way or another. He does not have a contract with us so we can say cheerio and thanks and let him make his mind up without having to worry about us. Save him saying any more prayers on national telly. eh?
-
They already paid us for a 'good' manager who turned out to be garbage. Now they want his replacement at Fir Park for nothing. Well, let them. He is 70 years of age and has always been too ambitious for his limited talents. He has done well for us by using our young squad plus some Gannon buys and can look forward to some of the same at Pittodrie. If he does not succeed he can slip away into oblivion. If he can turn them around he will die a hero in their bloodshot red eyes. My biggest fear is he will take some Motherwell players with him! I watched him on telly there claiming he was looking for 'divine intervention'! Well if you can't make your own mind up at 70 then it's medical intervention you need. Whatever he decides I think its time we started looking for a new manager. Do we really pay so badly? Mr Brown has shit in the nest and can never be trusted again.

CB on the bbc after match interview at St Mirren says its looking promising for him staying with us after January. Think I might text big Sam and congratulate him on his superb management skills in allowing us to prepare Nick for bigger things in the premiership next season.

Since when did they have to fit in for these two to buy them? Ask Alan Gow and Derek Riordan that. And Eddy, there is not a better winger than Humphrey in the SPL at the moment and I have seen all the teams this season. Granted that does not make him a great player but it does make him attractive to others. More worrying is the potential loss of Jamie who is growing into a confident attacking two footed player who can make and score goals. But hey, ho we are Motherwell, and we have to sell to survive.

I haven't been a fan of Ross Forbes since he got his contract and statrted acting like Bily Bigbaws but he is young and yesterday I thought he put a lot into the short time he was on the park ad nd played down the right and centre! I also thought he was much sharper on the ball and yes, faster to the beakdown! He played some nice first time passes and has obviously been watching Cesc Fabrigas with incisive delivery, if a trifle slower in the execution. He also gives CB a different option if he plays like this and I couldn't help but see that the late substitutions of the previous week were replaced with timely and meaningful changes which resulted in us getting into the game and almost taking 3 points. For me Forbes arrival and Gow's positional switch gave us more and better options.
-
Strange how everyone around me at the game yesterday was full of praise for Gow and he created some wonderfull chances in the last 30 minutes when hewas moved to a more natural position. I also thought he helped Ross Forbes to the best contribution we have seen for a while. That wee gobshite Cregg got a roasting from Gow that I have never seen in all the games he has played against us. Lost count of the number of times he was turned inside out. Gow also released Humphrey to create 2 really good chances as well as playing a sublime wall pass which he shot just past. What else do some of the people on here want?

Me to Robert behind me-So whit's this wee guy Haslebank like then? Robert - 'Aye he's fast but nae real danger, Me 'Aye looks harmless enough.BTW best thread in a long time!

Right I'm going to bite. Wasn't able to go so voted null but who are the arseholes who are wasting the poll by voting for Forbes? FFS he was only on the park for a hearytbeat so is this our very own protest vote or are his family trying to influence the outcome. Anyway not the way to conduct a vote so would the ral fans who were there please contribute their votes to ensure the eejits don't get their childish kicks from this. Nearly as bad as the clown who wants to offer Sutton another 3 year deal-OMG!!

Worst moment of the day- Hateley's back pass of a penalty. Second worst-Hateley and Forbes arguing over who was to take the final free kick- won by Hateley who passed it back to their keeper! The sooner these two muppets realise they have to practice and concentrate on their dead ball skills the better for all of us. Hateley cost us a point and Forbes gifted them three. That big crapper in the black will never be a referee in a million years. Even Billy Reid was mystified at some of his decisions and if he thinks we pay money to watch keepers wasting time he mst be looking forward to watching the death throes of football in Scotland. What about that embarrassment of a support for Accies- 4 men and a dug! Even they can see that a team like that ain't worth watching. Thank God Jenno, Blacman and Humphrey were fit. At least they tried to make a game of it. Once again cheating won the day and so it will be practiced by the so called minnows of our shit league.

You and me going to differ again big man? Thought Gow was class yesterday. Held the ball up well in the first half and found space in tight areas. prepared to take the ball in and release others. Brilliant 'Faddy' run past 4 defenders in second when he was fouled and DU goalie dived at his feet. Superb strike led to great save. Loads to look forward to from him. Also noticed once or twice his and other players studs seemed to catch on the new surface and some players were turning awkwardly. Poor DU performance and without their two wee midfield nyaffs Swansong and Conman they are reduced to feeding the battering ram Nightly and the wee diving chunt Badboaby. Agree with your take on Hately. He came on to a game second half and drove at them. Great free kick that nearly brought a goal. Wonderful turn that took three of them out before releasing Hump. It can't be easy to change position mid game and try to play the same game as the man you replace but he did seem to cope well after he settled. Three points and a cup tie to look forward to-Happy days

Keep seeing him referred to in other threads as our 'future' etc despite not even seeing him as a sub for some considerable time. Last update suggested he might now be back in training but rumour mill says he has lost interest. Anyone throw light on his current fitness level and likely return to play? It would undoubtedly be a major plus if a fit Hutchinson was available over the winter period.

So, you finally come out in your true colours Dewell?? Mark Reynolds ha s played more games in the last three years than any other Motherwell player. He has bailed us out on numerous occasions and been our on field captain. He has consistently put Motherwell first and hasn't put in the standard transfer requests of the so called stars over the years. You want to carry out a time and motion study on matters which you are not qualified to judge and relate that to onfield performance? You are a sad excuse for a Motherwell supporter and need to seriously think about what you want from the team and any players who are committed to representing us. Mark Reynolds will know that he was caught out today and was off the boil for whatever reason but you wont ever know why so please stop condemning a true servant of the club with your purile and malicious rumour spreading. If the management team are unhappy with him they will drop him. If he has breached club rules re match call up time he will be fined. If he has had a bad day he will be coached on this. You, on the other hand , need to get a major reality check. Ask yourself why we didn't score six again against the shit Hivees defence before you attack our own defender? b

Constantly first to every breakdown, great eye for a pass, excellent control, speed of thought and delivery. Need I say more- JENNO.
-
Think that's our 14th clean sheet and equals our best season to date in SPL. If so we should beat that comfortably in the remaining fixtures. Big Roodeee deserves a medal already.
-
A good solid battling performance today against a poor Kilmarnock side who did not threaten at all in the match. Tom Hateley takes a great free kick whether going for goal or chipping it to a man.Lots of pluses, above all yet another clean sheet and we have learned how to win 1-0 at last. We can keep this up and put pressure on the teams above us so it is a big thank you to Broon and Erchie for keeping our season going. Happy days .
-
Jenno was immense today. Always first to the breakdown, covering and tackling like a demon and playing cute balls for team mates, including a peach for Murph that he would have buried if he had kept his boot on. Agree we should be getting his signature on a longer deal and building a team around him and Reynolds whose composure and reading of the play was a joy to watch.

Tuned in to Clyde yesterday (by accident) and heard a discussion about the Falkirk/ Kilmarnock midweek game which attracted Falkirk's biggest crowd of the season, including OF games, and tickets were £10. I know this was virtually a relegation decider and Eddie May's farewell but it does show that there is an audience at the right price. Whilst I fully understand the economic argument over the full season, I feel that there must be a financial incentive offered for less attractive games. Premium games at premium prices and reduced rates for other games could be a way forward. If a total budget is agreed at the start of the season then anticipated income could be set using a formula per game instead of waiting to see who turns up at ridiculously high rates. Look at Hamilton yesterday. I agree their own fans never seem to turn out but our incentive the week before seemed to work and should have been repeated to test the water further. Anyway even fat boy DJ seemed to think something would have to be done on pricing so maybe the message is getting through?

Just give it a try for the fun of it. It is our team playing away from home and your chance to see the Whole Game, not what the BBC say are the 'highlights'. If anything, having watched both, I can see where the commentary on radio and the BBC highlights are totally biased and farcical. Diane isn't trying to fleece us or take us to the cleaners. She is giving us the opportunity to see our team in action, win lose or draw, away from home. Surely that has to be worth a try even if you then decide you don't like it. Suck it and see, if you can and bring the family if you want cause its non threatening and a good way to get the kids interested in the 'Well! Dougie was his usual good self and made everyone welcome. I am just an ordinary supporter with no axe to grind. I enjoyed my afternoon in good company and was made to feel very welcome. I will come back, even if I have been to the match because this venture deserves our support. Please don't knock this if you havent tried it and Weeyin- I love most of your contributions on this site but how the ..... can you have a valid opinion on this? Let me know when you are next visiting and I will buy you a drink at the Coop as you watch us hump the BBs on their own patches. Meanwhile a BIG thank you to CD for all her hard work and effort to make us a more successful football club. BTW- how about a commentator competition? Got to be a lot of Archies and Chicks ( Youngs) out there??

So happy to see the team play so well against a very poor Killie team and take their chances so well. Tom Hately deserves a mention for a very pro job at full back, including some real attacking moves in the last third of the game. Everyone said we would get clean sheets under Broony but 3 goals and many more chances was a bonus. Great to see JoB getting on the scoresheet which will maybe silence the 'good, but nae end product' club on here- but probably not! Whit about Craig Thomson? Couldn,t wait to book Jim and allowed Killie so much leeway it was embarrassing. That big Bawsac Kyle should have been arrested for assault but it was so funny to see him booked for abusing the ref who had let him away with murder. Anyoneone see Archie Knox having a go at the linesman after Kyle buried Stevie H into the dugout where him and Broon were seated? Still got lots of fire in him I was worried where we were going but this is a good bunch of players with a very good attitude who showed another side to their character today. Back in top 6. Order is restored.
