Was actually swithering about this game, so decided to check out prices for me and the lad £30 no family ticket so sod that as petrol costs enough and not wasting at least £80 for ticket petrol and a pie. Live next to hampden so will go watch queens park instead. £12 for both .Ticket prices too high when will they learn and reduce them?

    Dundee Game

With the recent weather up there will the pitch be a factor in deciding the result ?
  5. I have tried to cover this as best I can for all supporters and their views as this is becoming a very topical issue. But if I have missed you're particular view out please feel free to post you're stance. Just wish to add It is not my intention to place any pressure on the board in its decision making, I feel there is a vastly silent majority on this subject and just wish to get a feeling of fans views whether they post on the topic or not.
  6. Fantastically put gagg and also sums it up for me. We have a real chance to Change and the new setup proposed just fudges the issue and treads water until rangers come back and then it will be same old same old. As for the board not getting credit I feel this is an unfair statement, the have been given credit for listening to the fans but they cannot pick and choose when they want to listen and when they think they know better. For me the massive points are being missed when it comes to re construction , they MUST and have not looked at why the game is toiling gagg summed it up. Too expensive.TV running the game with fixturesPlaying teams too many times ( I remember playing utd 3 times in 2 weeks talk about boring)No competitionWinter football ( pissing down windy nights does not encourage me to go when I'm lacking motivation as it is)Also financial tightening of everyone's belts. ( unless we make the game cheaper and more attractive this will only get worse) We are sitting pretty in the league with a smaller budget and the board can take credit for that as we bit the bullet a long time before other clubs but don't say we are lucky to be in this position as eventually other clubs were bound to do the same. This was simply planning ahead and now we are reaping the rewards, well the massively reduced rewards ( I knew here haw about the reduced income for finnishing 2nd). We MUST MUST plan for the future and what's proposed does not do that and is no way in the best interest of the game. Lets be bold and forward thinking and say no to the new set up unless it benefits the game long term. In my opinion this cannot be done until we address the falling crowds for the above reasons, the new set up will only drive more away and sadly I probably will be one of them.

    Hearts

Not there only reason for null vote. Wanted to see results.
  8. I'm still peed at all this it wasn't a strong team bad selection pish.Niel Lennon in my book is unfairly targeted at times although he does make it easy for them. But one thing is evident he HAS NO CLASS or HUMILLITY. We soundly beat the team that was put before us that massively dwarfs ours on wages and players worth. The wee guy beat you take it like a man an just say the better team won on the night. But that type of honest self assessment is too much for him. Greetinfacedcannietakeitwean.
  9. Don't forget Kirk without. His goal I doubt we would have got past aberdeen. Then oneil pen against Morton and wonder goal that killed smelltic. Cooper was good but so were others equally if not better in individual games. TC was still a classy player tho.
  10. Forget it will be lucky it they don't put at least 4 past our woefull defence
  11. Ya beezer summed it up when he said utd defence and midfield worked more as a unit than us. The team seems to work separately defence and midfield. When I say put their foot on the ball what I meant was get the ball and tell others where to go what to do guide them. There seems a lack of flow and I think this is because I can see no real leader on the pitch.
  12. Not a knee jerk reaction to tonight's defeat, however what was most apparent to myself was the lack of a leader tonight, and many games before hand was leadership.Tonight we simply overr played it IMHO but what has been lacking on th field is patience and someone to put their foot on the ball and controll it. We miss Jennings to controll play and make it flow too many times we over complicated it. Ŵe are a young team but need an old head to make us flow better.
  13. Quite simply just a stupid ignorant of knowledge of football post. Think you need to temper you're frustration a bit and be realistic we are still sitting pretty
  14. Really frustrating night tonight. Think we over played it far too often giving utd players time to crowd the ball. The team really needed someone to take a shot instead of trying to walk the ball in, if you get a shot on target you might score or get a rebound rather than trying to tap it in from a yard out. Defensively we are still poor and time and time again we were caught out with the ball over the top into acres of space on the left. Utd countered well but ffs it was from a corner from us and they cut right through the middle of us ( would las have made the difference ? I don't know) Randolph was superb and saved us from loosing heavier. Hamill didn't look fit (2 games in a short space or injured) Humphrey has lost that wee extra yard he had on defenders so plays it back rather than hitting the line and crossing earlierwhich he is better at. Hutch had a bit of a torrid time although cleared off the line twice I think. Can't blame him he's a young lad lacking experience and has no old head around him to keep him right. Now Hately ffs where to start awfull all season, terrible decision making, gets frustrated and lunges in. Why he takes every corner free kick I don't know there has to be someone better. Oh he did clear off the line but how many times did he put us in that situation.Bench time neede. Henrick lively as well as higinbotham but were well nullified and faded. Higdon did the donkey work as ever but they weren't on the same book never mind page tonight. All in all disappointed but not devastated we're still 2nd and can avenge it at the weekend, wouldn't be motherwell if we gave all of the fairy tale instead of just a bit. Ps. Willo flood you're truly an ugly wee cretin and a total pain in the arse but I'd have you in my team every week.
  15. Harley v poor decision making. Hutchison having bit of a mare. Henrick and higgingbotham look lively. Plenty chances just need to convert them. Ht coyw
  16. Large crowd 2nite Long que at east stand and ticket office I'm buzzing coyw
  17. 3-1 well Higgy double with faddy capping a cameo role off the bench with a goal but no clean sheet leaking the mandatory goal.
  18. Higgy laying the ball off to them and with humphs pace, If I was a defender I'd be thinking oh fuck
  19. Premier League agrees new financial regulations The Premier League says its clubs will be punished with a points deduction if they breach new spending controls. Each team will not be allowed to make a total loss of more than £105m over the next three seasons and must limit their player wage bills from next season. "If people break the £105m we will look for the top-end ultimate sanction range - a points deduction," said Premier League boss Richard Scudamore. Analysis Gordon intereThe rules are designed to improve the financial sustainability of clubs. Investment in areas such as stadia and academies will be exempt. The aim is a 'break even' model similar to the Financial Fair Play regulations introduced by Uefa for sides in European competitions. The FFP allows only a £38m (45m euros) loss - significantly less than the Premier League's new limit of £105m between 2013 and 2016. Agreeing to cost controls marks a major change for Premier League clubs - they made cumulative losses of £361m in the 2010-11 season - and Scudamore is adamant the system will be enforced. "As with all things in our rulebook, you will be subject to a disciplinary commission," the Premier League chief executive warned clubs. "Normally we stay silent on sanctions as the commission has a free range but clearly if there is a material breach of that rule we will be asking the commission to consider top-end sanctions." Scudamore confirmed there would be an "absolute prohibition" on teams reporting losses of more than £105m over the next three years, with the first sanctions possible in 2016. Of the 20 top-flight sides, only Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool have reported losses of more than £105m over the last three years, according to the most up-to-date published accounts. It emerged that the vote for the financial regulations could hardly have been closer with only 13 of the 20 clubs voted in favour, with six against and Reading abstaining. The 'yes' vote only narrowly achieved the necessary two-thirds majority of the 19 votes cast. It is understood that Fulham, West Bromwich Albion, Manchester City, Aston Villa, Swansea City and Southampton all voted against. Chelsea, who had initially been viewed as opponents of financial fair play regulations, voted in favour. "A new owner can still invest a decent amount of money to improve their club but they are not going to be throwing hundreds and hundreds of millions [of pounds] in a very short period of time," said Scudamore. "While it has worked for a couple of clubs in the last 10 years, if that's going to be done in the future it's going to have to be over a slightly longer term without the huge losses being made. Financial regulation key "I think at £105m you can still build a very decent club with substantial owner funding but you have to do it over time, not in a season." Chelsea won the Premier League two years after Roman Abramovich acquired the Stamford Bridge outfit, and Manchester City's title success came three years after Sheikh Mansour's takeover. Any club making a loss of above £5m a year will have to guarantee those losses against the owner's assets, which should help prevent the situations that afflicted Leeds and Portsmouth. "In some ways that's the most significant part, this is a three-year rolling system of secure funding - it's one year at the moment," Scudamore added. Clubs whose total wage bill is more than £52m will only be allowed to increase their salaries by an accumulative £4m per season for each of the next three years (2013-14: £4m, 2014-15: £8m, 2015-16: £12m). However, that only applies to revenue centrally distributed by the Premier League - essentially TV income - and does not cover extra money coming in from increases in commercial or matchday income. The 'short-term cost control' measure applies solely to clubs with a player wage bill in excess of £52m in 2013-14, £56m in 2014-15 and £60m in 2015-16. West Ham's co-owner David Gold said that the proposals for controls had received backing of the majority of chairmen. "We have all voted and it was overwhelmingly supported, not by all the clubs - some are a little concerned - but the vast majority of the clubs voted in favour," he explained. "It's not a salary cap, it's a restraint on over-spending. If clubs increase their revenues then they can increase their spending. "We have got restraint, that's the important thing. What's driving the whole thing is we've got to avoid another Portsmouth." Minister for Sport Hugh Robertson commented: "I am pleased that Premier League clubs have agreed further financial regulations that will help ensure they are run on a more sustainable basis. "The Government has been clear that we want clubs to be on a secure financial footing for the long-term health of the game. This is a welcome and positive move."

    Vs Dundee Utd

TBH i couldnt care less if the game is off due to flooding. Pretty scunnered with Scottish football and this talk of 8 8 8 has me ready to chuck it. Undecided whether to go or not which is poor when we could go clear 2nd. Really what is the point when everything is for the old firm the only reason i can see for this ridiculous 8 8 8 that barely a single fan wants the talk has me apathetic nevermind if it happens.

    Vs Dundee Utd

    Doubtful all that's been said.
  22. My sentiment exactly, it's getting harder for me to justify the money and I am totally against the structure proposed it will strangle the game even more. Falling out of love for the game and the way fans are treated is pathetic this may be a bridge to far for me when renewing but it will still patg just more selective of games. As for the well society it just seems I have gave them a donation of money.
