I had him down as a left back and the only game I really mind then was a snow-bound game home to Hearts. Did John Reilly (yes really) no put us 1-0 up with a great strike but defensive errors cost us, think ended up 1-3 might have been 85-86 season when they should a won the league.
  2. OK so I’m probably 4 days late in asking but I wonder did the clubs consider playing a behind doors friendly on Saturday if the pitch was ok?
  3. Certainly is. I only saw one quick replay of it and it looked like when it hit the Celtic player the ball had not yet entered the field of play, so yes re-take. Don't know if VAR is obliged to or should it not be good practice anyway but just show us the freeze frame they’re using to determine if throw in legal or not.
  4. Goooooool. Shields down the right and Spittal turns in the cross
  5. He is the messiah. And I should know, I've seen a few.
  6. I actully liked that GA had the dugouts switched, I noted Goodwin has done the same now at Pittodrie. Now right beside stand side assistant.
  7. Like when ah tell people..in Spanish..that ah canny speak Spanish
  8. Anyone else still having issues with ticketing site? Still unable to create an account, waiting to hear back from the club.
  9. Not getting far at all trying to purchase tickets here. Selected 2 seats and now clicking on "Create an account" then getting "Sorry, at the current time you are not able to register a new client." Anyone else seeing this? FWIW I'm using a Chromebook.
  10. Calling all SPFL anoraks. Whats the prize money for 4th, 5th and 6th?
  11. I actually think refs would welcome transparency, I really do. What would not be welcome is TV viewers hearing the language used by players throughout the game, effing blinding and c’ing. That’s why we’ll never hear that live. Funny, those rugby boys will bulldoze you into next week with a tackle but I’ve yet to hear any of them swear

    Alexander.

Rugby Union could teach fitba a few things. Refs miked up for TV viewers, video ref that actually works. Oh and coaches as far away from the pitch as possible.
  13. Was thinking same, thought I’d mis-counted. Has that rule been abandoned?
  14. I’m listening to Radio Scotland’s normally excellent Open All Mics and between Michael Stewart who’s at the game and guys in studio watching the replay, they have absolutely no idea why Kelly was booked. Are they actually watching? Then Stewart says he doesn’t know who the ref is despite probably being in the ground for 90 mins and having team sheets and match programme available to him.
  15. He actually did give it initially to the disbelief of both sets of players then linesman gave him a shout it was actually offside.
  16. You've got to wonder how BBC Scotland decides which game to cover on the wireless. Championship Ayr (yawn) v. Dundee Utd, 2 Premiership teams at Dens Park, nah who'd want to hear that?
  17. Yes he did. Weren’t 2 or 3 of them overturned?
  18. Cos it's on this Premier Sports is that the reason BBC wireless have commentary on Livingston v Raith game which sounds absolutely dreadful?
  19. Don't see anything yet on SPFL you tube channel, mon Doncaster get the finger oot.
  20. Surprised it wasn't a red, no attempt to play the ball whatsoever.
  21. UEFA has all that bunting to put up which will take weeks.
  22. League rules used to be whatever dimensions you started the season with and all clubs communicated it, they could not be altered mid-season.
  23. Saw that and I always thought that this other dugout has a better view of the whole pitch as it's literally on the halfway line. The (now) away dugout is almost halfway down that sideline. They said Alexander likes to be closer to the stand side linesman to "encourage" them to give us some decisions.
