I think there in lies the problem. There has been almost zero interest to attempt anything else. Subsitutions don't change the system, they squeeze other guys into the existing system.

I am not really sure about this. The midfield at the beginning of the season without him in there was fucking awful. Richard Tait showing the winger inside for the first goal was absolutely fucking criminal.

Unfortunately it's not happening for him. I think his greatest attributes are his strength and his pace and neither of them are incredible.

Yes, he completely has been for months. I can't mind the last time he got a cross into the box. I think he's best in RM with Tait behind him. doubt we will see much of that though.
