He'd be no worse than what we have in midfield just now (Jennings and Lasley aside) now, with Fizzy's deal up in January, we need to have players who can step in when Jennings is inevitably suspended and Lasley has a knock. If we can get him on some sort of pay as you play deal, why the hell not? Not that he'll be given anything resembling a chance by the East stand right enough.

I pray for the day we hunt that imposter Hateley the Sooner the better, an absolutely diabolical excuse for a footballer, turns up for two minutes a game to take free kicks and penalties and is shite at them too. Total waste of space the sooner we get las back and get page at right back the better

Thought we Played ok in patches but didn't really get into any rhythmn after murphy went off. Gow has some ability to just run and run and have the ball stay glued to his feet, a player who is no doubt better than Motherwell. Thought Craigan was outstanding tonight, marshalled the defence brilliantly and didn't give daly or goodwillie a sniff all night. Bring On the Semis!

I'm not Lasley's biggest fan by any means, but you saw what we miss when he wasn't there. For about 30 mins after he went off it was as if we were playing 1 man in midfield, I'm sorry to say it, but Tom Hateley has been a weak link in our team since about Christmas last year, he's just not cut the mustard and at right back I'd much rather see us playing Jonny Page as Hateley has an awful habbit of going totally missing.

Can't remember any other right back, either way, the Salim mentioned a few pages back as being at Rangers is a totally different one than the one we had ont rial up front.

It's a completely different Salim that was playing in that game. The right back aforementioned was Jamie McCluskey who just signed for St Mirren.
