A point is better than none, but that was dire, DIRE stuff today, for 80 odd minutes out of the 90 we'd have been as well watching the two kids games at half time for the entertainment factor, the Ref spoiled it with constant stop start, stupid fouls, non existant fouls and constant pedantry over where kicks were taken. Thought, bar the odd player, we were very poor, Hateley standing out as the pick of the bunch for playing poorly, granted he's not a left back, but he should still be able to hit a ball 2 yards and not lose the ball.

Talk about an overreaction I bet it gets nothing other than perhaps a wee line at the end, a mere footnote.

Joyful, and yet oh so suicidal once teams realised what we were doing at every goal kick and we began losing 3, 4 and 5 goals a game.

By my reckoning we'd have occupied the slot that was eventually taken by Lech Poznan, so we missed out on Man City, Juventus and Red Bull Salzburg in Group A.
