A piece on a Norwegian news site I read last night reckoned around 9000 with 300-400 from Norway.

Yeah, saw on their website they were having some sort of do at Waxy's tonight, orange and blue will go down well with the locals...

But they're not sub-standard so what you on about?

Hearts? Who have they added, Hibs? Been getting scudded recently in pre-season and Europe. Aberdeen? An ageing Hartley and an English journeyman, they have also been roundly pumped all pre-season and newspaper reports prophecising their doom.

Not sure where you're getting that from, hardly anyone have spent any money this year and teams like Aberdeen have lost a lot more players than us. We'll be just fine.

If we get there, absolutely anywhere that isnae the arse end of nowhere and is easily driveable or a cheap flight. Just one tie that is easily accessible is all I want.

The first half updates on Twitter made it seem we were fighting for our lives, but from actually seeing the second half and the highlights, I think we were more than equal, in terms of away performances in Europe, it was a typical masterclass from Brown and Knox.

Randolph looks like he could be just as good as Ruddy, very commanding, good shot stopper and a great kicker. Thought the penalty was soft at the time and still think it is now, the fact that no AaFK players seem to claim for it tells me it was extremely soft. Highlights just reinforced what I felt about the tie, we were handy going forward, getting sharper from the Briedablik games no doubt and they were restricted on the whole to long range shots and rebounds from balls into the big man. More of the same next week, an extra weeks sharpness for us and a tiring match for them and some long travelling twice in a week and I can see us progressing.

Really like the new top. As people have said it's a bit thin but overall a very tidy strip. One thing I've noticed is the long sleeve tops, the sleeves seem to be very long, prefer the badge this year, alot bolder and more prominent. We'll see how it goes in the wash but the material seems as if it will stand up better than the CCC.

I thought Aalesund in all truth were woeful, ICT/St Mirren woeful, every time they got the ball, it went out wide, high ball in box, rebound shot miles over. They were abysmal and if only we had someone to match Humphrey's pace we would have won 3, 4-1. Looked like a dubious penalty on the stream in the pub but still, to be offered a 1-1 before the match I'd have snatched it and made off like a bandit. The only chances they seemed to create were either long balls or similar to Briedablik and we kept the same result with little no opportunities clear on goal. Absolutely gutted to lose that late goal, especially as I had Murphy 1-0 as a scorecast. If we don't progress now it's all our own fault as the game is very much in our hands and very much winnable.

Worth keeping in mind that organisations such as Choose Life aren't charities, rather government funded initiatives, so it's not charity money that we'll be taking. It may have backing of organisations connected to charities but any monies will come from the government. Given that North Lanarkshire has an alarmingly high suicide rate any backing Motherwell will give through potential shirt sponsorship will assist in the promotion of the Choose Life message of suicide prevention and awareness.

Reading on their forums sounds like a few of them are very confident, somewhat overconfident about their chances. Hopefully they underestimate us and we can go out and scud them, being the seeded team after all we should be stronger than them.
