Who we playing at the weekend again?

The Hibs game has now been moved to the 5th of May, due to the election. Whilst this is probably the most sensible move, it's yet another example of the poor handling of the fixtures from the tv companies and the league and could yet further jeopardies our attendance. Official Website

They got their debt cleared, the stadium paid for without being homeless and £1,000,000 extras in the bank. Apart from the poor stadium (which is fine for their needs) they got the deal of the century.

See, the whole thing about the second goal, I thought maybe he was hoofing it as he was scared of slipping again, but then I remembered, not long before that, he did the exact same thing in taking a touch and wrong footing Daly in almost the exact same circumstances as the first goal, which leads me to believe that he's a moron.

Rumour has it, he had a senior moment and thought Mouatakil was back.

For individual howlers, those two are up there, but for all round awfulness, today's must surely take some beating, from memory, apart from the Durie incident and the Wilson lob, those days, the rest of the time they were 'ok'.

Humphrey at right back brought back shades of Yassin for me, and not just down to the colour of their skin unfortunately. Over the piece, I thought we were well worth at least a point, felt we dominated pretty much the whole match bar a ten minute period around their third goal, on another day with another keeper we win that 2-0/1 and are talking about a great win and performance against the form team in Scotland, as it is we are bemoaning another loss and an abysmal goalkeeper.

Part of me is boiling with rage at his display today, but the other half genuinely feels sorry for the guy. He's clearly not an SPL goalkeeper and is being made look horrendous because of it. All in all, I think today was the worst all-round goalkeeping display I've ever seen at Fir Park and any chance he had of succeeding at the club has now gone as the knifes are well and trully out, and probably, on todays evidence, rightly so.

My mind is hazy from the goals at the 6-1 game, but you must be talking about Boyd's goal there? There's no way even you, with your innate dislike of Ruddy, will blame him for Reynolds just standing there in the 1-1 game?

Realistically, every team in the first division would be easily able to compete in the SPL given the increase in money etc available.

I would say look to Holland and follow their set up, similar sized country with a pretty decent league set up.

Just confirmed on BBC Radio Scotland that Ross County will only qualify for Europe IF Dundee United get a Champions League slot, assuming it's a United/county final and also that United win.

Similar situation happened when I was heading in, only this time the stewards were openly asking for a voucher for some old guy who was about to fork out to get in. Gave him my voucher, the only stipulation being we went in the same gate. Like to feel I saved the old guy some pension money, not having to pay to watch the garbage that turned out on the pitch.

I was impressed with Fraser today I have to admit, and think that he may be able to do us a job next year should we not bring anyone better in/keep Ruddy although I would continue to play Ruddy until we were out of contention for Europe.

Poor all round although, we did create some chances and probably should have scored a few. Disappointing about the lack of fight throughout the team and some slack defending, from what I hear Ruddy was left badly exposed for the goal which forced him to rush out like an eejit- was clear he was carrying some sort of injury with Hammell taking the goal kicks and I have to say, I thought Michael Fraser played well when he came on, made some good stops, even if his kick which went flying out behind him was iffy (as an aside, is there some previous with him and Falkirk, heard them abusing him?) Falkirk, based on their showing today I think, will scrap and kick their way to try and survive but I don't think they can, they didn't really show any signs of scoring other than our mistake at the back and near the end on the counter- Showaddywaddy is a dirty dirty player, although I was impressed with Darren Barr who is obviously still 100% committed despite being offski at the end of the season.

He did have a poor game today, but you can see he is playing with no confidence. I think we may have found our new Fitzy as there were a few guys in front of me berating him at every opportunity, including once where he could do nothing as the ball was fast on its way out the park.

Bit of a shambles at the gates today with a massive queue all the way round to the Chapman building from the East when I arrived, admittedly at five to three (thanks East Coast trains), but it seems they were insisting on you using certain gates up to this point, even though there was no one going through the cash gate. Thankfully common sense in the end prevailed and I got in only missing 5 minutes, but there were still quite a few behind me in the queue.

Was all very strange, just seemed to come out of nowhere and the cops seemed to be dragging the wee guy they took out down the trackside in quite a forceful way, just seemed to be a crowd that had a little too much to drink and the police decided to chuck them out for it.

What exactly happened at their second goal? I saw Ruddy seem to try and take a touch to himself, it rolled by him then the rest of it was blocked by some fanny in an orange jacket who refused to move, anyone clarify?
