    Dundee Utd

Absolutely no one, terrible all round.
  2. Terrible performance to a man no body looked interested or up for it in any way whatsoever- think that week off may have been a huge mistake as it's sapped all our momentum. Can't really pick anyone for pass marks which is very poor considering we did have a good opeing 15 mins then they went down to 10 and instead of taking the game by the throat we went into our shell and didn't ever look like re-emerging. Dundee United were very physical today, that baldy unevolved twat Kenneth got away with murder, as did Webster who had 3 off the ball swipes at 'Well players and got away with each of them, how the United fans could be up in arms about that red card is beyond me, clear as day he went in studs in the stomach with no intent to play the ball, a disgraceful challenge and one which I hope will result in a lengthy ban. Here's hoping this was just a blip in our great run but I worry that we've lost our momentum and are going to gradually slip back in the chase for 3rd/4th.
  3. Wishaw Press Great news for the club, part of me wonders if that'll be the only thing at Ravenscraig that Motherwell FC will be getting.

    Bounce Game

Quite interesting to read on the Official's facebook account that we have two Americans on trial who also played in the game. Official Site

    Dundee Utd Away

I notice they are apparently only doing concessions in the lower tier? Seems a bit odd.

    League Position

It does show the consistency was beginning to slip into poor form towards the end of his tenure. Thankfully the teams below us, Killie, St Mirren, Hamilton etc have all had very poor seasons or we'd have been lower than we were, I can't remember a season where so many teams have been consistently poor.
  7. The other 10 really should get together and do some sort away season ticket deal add-on to your season ticket and pool the money to be split or something, but it'll never happen as everyone is out for themselves. Good idea from the club though.
  8. Wasn't the Bovril like, 5 years ago or something now?
  9. But there's very few, if any, muppets throwing anything, and yet we are all, to a man, woman and child, being subjected to a search that is on the whole utterly pointless.
  10. Why did they feel the need to Americanise the date on that stat?
  11. Forbes played like a headless chicken last night, had no idea where he was meant to be playing and this put the midfield and defence under pressure as he seemed content to just chase the ball like an 11 year old playing football in the playground.
  12. Anyone know how many we took through? Looked busy to me but thought I heard it announced only 259?
  13. Can't see anyone not wishing Reynolds all the best, unlike Slane, he signed the 3 (four?) year deal to allow the club to get money at the end. Unfortunately since the talk of 1 million pound bids, his form has dropped and the economic climate (to use a phrase I detest) has changed how transfer fees are being paid and as such, I think anything between 300k and 750k is about what we can expect. 500k and a decent sell on clause would make me very happy.
  14. Yeah, I'd agree with that side Steelboy. Think Coke's performance last week when he came on meant he was unlucky not to start on Saturday, but with O'Brien playing as poorly as he did, I'd be happy enough for that to be rectified on Tuesday. Felt Lasley was well below par, maybe tiring? May look into playing Forbes in there from the start. Going to be my first visit to the new St Mirren Park so looking forward to meeting up with a few mates in the Last Post then heading along to the ground- I know it's right next to St James, but anyone walked it from the centre and know how long it takes?

    St Johnstone

Humphrey for me, much improved crossing from last week, always willing to run and beat men and always made himself available for the ball, good showing.
  16. Take no notice, he's going round all the threads trying to wind folk up.
  17. Looked as if he booted or tried to boot a wee guy who leant over the advertising boards to pick up the ball.
  18. I thought they'd closed off the streets around the ground pre and post match? If they've not, maybe that's something worth looking into other than these barriers, allows fans to queue in an orderly line at seperate gates rather than snaking down towards the Cooper?

    Jim O'brien

More than two Frazza, there were quite a few that went straight out which was disappointing, when he got a good one in they were good, but more often than not they sailed out.

Aye. I've usually got a lot of time for TL's posts, but this time I can't believe he has bitten so often and yet still comes back for more. His spitting the dummy in the past few posts is unreal.
  21. I went back on Soccerbase earlier on and couldn't find a better unbeaten run than the one we're on as far back as 1995/96 when I stopped checking, I'd assume it'll be the same for shut outs.

Gie it a rest for crying out loud, is one throw away remark really worth all this off topic hassle?

    Kilmarnock

Jennard. Done the work for two in midfield as his playing partner was quite often missing.
  24. Because they're not Levein's boys.
