He's a solid SPL defender, but is prone to lapses such as last night and as I said to folk at the game, it's moments like that which will prevent him going on to the bigger leagues like the Premiership.

    Offside Goal

If he leaves it, it goes in, no questions asked. It was needless and greedy and ultimately cost us the 3 points, harsh but sadly true.

    Ross Forbes

Generally improved but a fucking idiot who cost us the 3 points by trying to snatch a goal.

    Offside Goal

The most galling thing about it is that it was a fucking ridiculous decision by Forbes to try and snatch the goal, it was going right in. Idiot.
  5. For christ sake! Think we better get our singing voices ready for tomorrow!
  6. Indeed. I think if it were the case that we'd have any chance of blaming the company, the club would have lead straight off with the information about having "problems" with the company who installed it or something to try and deflect the negative PR their way.
  7. My opinion is that, if it were feasible, that football across the SPL would be £12, £10 and £6. I'd pay my £10 and be happy paying that as I think that's what it's worth. It'd be an interesting idea for the club to do maybe say pay between £2 and £22, you decide. It would be an interesting thing to do, but the chances are up here, you'd get folk just paying £2, but it'd be interesting to see exactly how effective it would be and if we had a dramatic decrease in attendance numbers etc. Maybe something to think about running post split?
  8. Can't really ask for a refund if its the ground staff that have cocked it up, can they? Having watched the highlights, it didn't look as bad as it did at the game, but it's still in some nick but at the end of the day, it's the same for both sides and our team will be worse for it come the season end as it'll take a lot more out of them running on it every second week. On the game, the highlights seemed to suggest we were much superior to the Accies and how they thought they should have had a penalty at the end with Paixio is beyond me.
  9. An interesting idea from Mansfield... BBC
  10. A hoop wouldn't be right with the blue top. Like the white one, not all out blue, but just enough.
  11. I thought it looked absolutely fine on the news earlier tonight and certainly no worse than Rugby Park looked on ESPN tonight. Watching the highlights on the BBC site, it cut up something dreadful towards the end, not looking good for us going forward.
  12. We weren't really in a strong position to bargain, were we?
  13. Mario Doerner, I think, to my memory, the only man to blaze a shot so far over from inside the penalty box, I'm pretty sure he hit the big M in Motorola on the top of the Cooper.
  14. Not a dig at you personally, just been mentioned on various threads throughout the window, easy enough to miss. Hence the
  15. No. Maybe pin this topic for the amount of times the question has been asked
  16. Who's to say there hasn't been bids that have been knocked back?

    Aberdeen

We had a 3-0 win up there quite recently with a much better performance that I would put ahead of Saturday.
  18. Was it not proven last year that whilst, the hoop is a feature favoured by most of us, it's hardly "traditional" given it's only appeared periodically since the 70s and not once before then?
  19. Really like the black away kit and the blue top, would be good as a 3rd shirt for our 125th year- is that next year
  20. Couldn't make out the words that were being sung before the "thinks of Craigie Brown" line yesterday- belter.

    Jim O'Brien

If they can get 500k for a diddy like Lee Miller in the same contract situation, then just divert the funds to us and they are welcome to him.

    Jim O'Brien

Aye, I'd like to see us offer him a deal similar to that Brown signed at Hibs, promising we'll sell him if we get a fee which matches our valuation and/or after 18 months of a 3 year deal.
  23. Yeah, some fan zone style commentary would be good if there is no sound, if possible. Was at the game yesterday so didn't bother coming through but it really wasn't well advertised, was it mentioned on the scoreboard or over the PA last week, I certainly didn't see it. Hopefully word of mouth will make it a bigger success in future.

    For some interesting reading....look familiar?

Jennings was solid as a rock, as is expected. He took no shit in the midfield, if he lost the ball, he'd win it back and generally went about his business well. A few stray passes which possibly come with rust and perhaps should have shot on occassion instead of playing a pass, but all in all, a good performance. He's exactly the type of player we need in the side when we're going to be up against it.
