  1. Well, a fantastic day all round other than the game. Was very surreal tonight, absolutely no atmosphere in the ground and nothing on the pitch to get us fired up. Poor show all round with pass marks only to Murphy and Juke who had no business being on the park after the knock he took, was hopping for most of the game and must be a big doubt for the weekend. Bit of a hairy moment on the way home about 5 miles south of Inverness when we hit a patch of black ice and were very lucky not to wipe out into the side of the road (those who travelled up will have seen a van ditched in at the side not far from where we skidded) so hope all who went up got there and back safely. Shout out to the Broxden Beetroot Motherwell army.
  2. Aye, they don't look promising at all, but hopefully, with the temperature to stay up a bit over the few days, we'll be ok.
  3. Rangers will get Edinburgh/Montrose at home and Celtic will travel to Ross County or Inverurie.

    Jim Jefferies

I'd say the old shite manager connection would screw that up. There are few people I, and many others I'm sure, would not accept as the manager of our club, and that moaning faced idiot is one of them.
  5. And Chris McCart can take a flying fuck to himself from any future MFC events.
  6. Do you mark your diary to be an arse at times?
  7. He always tried his best, which wasn't good enough most of the time unfortunately. Wish him well wherever he goes.

    Game Off

Yassin's deal was up yesterday so he'd have been gone anyway, hopefully Ruddy and Juke will be here for the rest of the season.
  9. I suppose that this is the opportune moment to bring up that in the Motherwell chant pack for Pro Evo, that song is featured?

    Catering

I paid 1.70 for a hot brown water with chocolate(?) from that wee stand, even after 2 sugars, it was manky. Glad I chucked it if that's what they were doing with water.
  11. Sadly Saturday proved that the stand isn't up to the task anymore and the sooner we move the better for all I think. One other thing, just between the doors for the gents near the stairs, there is a roof panel which seems to get benter every game with rainwater, one day it's going to collapse on someone and there is going to be a funny accident.
  12. Interesting appointment as he's been out the managerial game a long time but one I think will work. There was an article in the Herald about appointing him as Scotland boss which painted him in a brilliant light, if I can dig that up will link it, just the man to steady the ship IMO. http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/more-s...anager-1.992657
  13. One for the stattos, I'm going to do some looking into it in the morning, but does anyone know how many goals we have conceeded in the 45-60 period this year? It seems every week we fall out of the traps in the second half and lose a goal.
  14. I'm 100% behind Gannon too but he really baffles me at times, the Lukas change today being one of them. There is a weak link in our defence, and it's not Moutouakil, Stevie Saunders was an absolute bombscare today, that second goal, on first look admittedly, should see him hung out to dry. 12 goals in 3 games shipped. Answers please?

    The Game Is On!

Sky still looking really heavy like it has been all morning. Accuweather seems to agree that the day is clear though
  16. Orange ball today or is it still that stupid yellow thing they use in the SPL?

    The Game Is On!

Late drama perhaps as the snow starts to fall in Motherwell.....?
  18. Game aff. I should point out, that this isn't official, but pretty much guaranteed.
  19. Don't worry yourself over him TL, he does have previous for having a screw loose, per my sig.
  20. "Richard" I believe. Appropriately named, utter fool.
  21. I'm pretty sure we've lost 5-0 at least several times in my life time there, infact, I know for a fact we lost 5-0 when Gazza and Laudrup went mental in the second half.
  22. And like I said, I'm sure what he said in private to the young lads in his team, would be far different to what he tells the media.
  23. I don't see why your consistency clause does anything other than support his argument? Right now they are the top team, the form team in the SPL so why should we expect to go to a ground we've not won at this millenium and get a result when we ourselves are in the middle of a slump?
