    Same Old Story

The problem is, we seem to just camp in our own 18 yard box when we are leading, when we have a man advantage we NEED to push up and take the game to them, which we fail today. Another point, that second half today proved if it needed proving that Keith Lasley is not worthy of a starting place in that team. Time and time again he was late in the tackle and giving the ball away constantly. We need someone better.

  3. Aye, and if no one wanted to be police we'd have mob rule. Pish argument.
  4. To turn your arguement round, not all the unemployed are like your description many didn't choose to be and were laid off when things went tits up recently or are graduates who can't get a job in their field. Unlike those who choose to go off and fight and then get freebies.
  5. If it's filling empty seats then they should be doing something similar to St Mirren by letting people on the dole in for cheaper/free. Do they give them discounted season tickets similar to concessions? I have never signed on or whatever, but I presume you need to have some card to prove you're job seeking, so let them get in for concession rates/season tickets etc?

    John Ruddy

I'm worried a bigger club might come in for him in January, and with today's press reporting West Ham are in for McGregor....
  7. Decent read about Big Mitch in the papaer today... The Sun Would love him to be a future manager here.
  8. I did notice a bit of puddling come the end of the game on Saturday down the south goals, but I'm sure they'll have been working all through the week and it'll be fine come Saturday. The pitch is still looking tremendous, watching the highlights back, it really does look like a bowling green, which all things considered, is impressive and a testament to the ground staff given what they had to go through last year having seen it up close, it was horrible.

Ruddy really does have the potential to be an England goalie, it's a position they're hardly anointed in and he seems to have all the key attributes.

    Keith Lasley

When has Keith Lasley ever done those things consistently?

I've disagreed in the past with YaBezzer, but that pretty much sums it up. Unless Forbes was injured, taking him off and replacing him with JoB (who was poor) and not changing the shape was a terrible decision and was lucky not to cost us the game. The second half was one of the worst performances from us this season, Yassin was getting an absolute roasting from Mulgrew for the entire second half. Very lucky to come out of that with a point against an Aberdeen side which is as poor as I've seen. Also a quick mention to the away support, one of the worst Aberdeen supports I've ever seen.

    Chris Humphrey

Just saw the update on Facebook from the official site that Humprey could miss 6 weeks after picking up a knock vs Accies. Quite a blow as he was coming on to a game.

Well, you know what I mean. A good pro, but doesn't add anything we don't have in anyone younger/better.

Think the majority on here see a different Keith Lasley than I do most weeks.
  15. Aye, I saw that, hooked off the line, very good effort.
  16. Very good double pager on Gannon in today's Herald Online Edition
  17. We had him twice, once under Butcher then again under Malpas and both times told him where to go for being an alky, allegedly.
  18. The refusal to speak to the media is fine, he was pissed off about the performance, 60 mins against 10 men and only scraping a draw, perhaps he felt what he had to say should be said behind closed doors. Who said he went to Brighton? Whose to say they didn't travel up here to meet with him? We've been made paranoid with McGhee's whoring, Gannon is not McGhee.
  19. Just watched the highlights, we dominated them completely if they are to be believed, pity we couldn't get one of those scrambles over the line.
  20. Got to say, and that pic seems to prove it, their keeper was a mile off the line when the ball was struck.
  21. My speculation on it would be he didn't want to speak to the media incase he said something about the ref that came back on him, seemed pissed off at him, especially after his ticking off.
  22. Where's everyone heading pre-match? Thinking of the Tap Room but it doesn't allow colours.
