  1. Superb performance today, to a man everyone played well. Craigan and Hutchinson marked Kyle out the game only the one slip up when Kyle put it over the bar. Going forward we look some prospect, O Brien has got some engine on him and he fairly can boost when needed, Slane showed as well when he came onw hat he can do, and I think that's the role we should use him in this season where possible, about 30mins left fire him on to run at tiring defenders. What I will say is, I have never seen us play a team off the park so comprehensively and in doing so never get out of first gear, really, today looked like a breeze for the lads, maybe the extra sharpness, I don't know, but we looked like we could still crank it up if needed. That Starting XI definitely looks our strongest from what I've seen in the Euro ties and the opening two matches and I hope to see the same team take the field at Aberdeen next week.
  2. Looks very flat indeed, a bit down the far end of the East looks a bit dodgy but a few more weeks and we should be fine I trust.

Entry to Celtic and Rangers games. Been this way for about 10 years.

    In's And Out's

The chances of anyone having heard of him, barring being a fan of the team itself, I'd say are slim to nil.

    In's And Out's

Been plenty of moaning about Humph and Jennings where I've heard and indeed on this site, for our main evidence, I'd like to point to Cillian Sheridan.

    In's And Out's

Would everyone stop getting their frillies in a twist. It will be a EPL youth player- like Stokes was when he came to Falkirk, he will take time to settle in no doubt and then the fans will turn on him. It's the Motherwell way.
  7. The red card vs Hamilton for Porter etc I suspect let us down in Cups.
  8. Isn't he also related to him? Always seemed a fair Ref any time I can remember him.
  9. Yep, it certainly seems that the fans and team are on the same page for once. Long may it continue.

    Ticket Prices

I see Aberdeen have continued their sensible pricing- £22 and £16. £16 for concessions, for what little fans travel anyway, way to encourage people.

    Paul Slane

Calf strain I'm sure I read. Probably be ok for next week.

    Spl Highlights

If he has to abide by them, then why didn't he book Forbes who also left the pitch? Also the other 3 or 4 players who joined in. I believe that rule is at the Referee's discretion. Dougie McDonald is just a fud.
  13. Certainly from what I've seen he pisses all over Jennings, but then again I'm not seeing them every day in training. Certainly a player worth his place in our squad.
  14. Reynolds. Just saw Forbes' goal again. Gets better each time. A free scoring midfielder?? Gotta love it.
  15. And by the end of the game, considerably lower? I was thinking today, other than Hammell, we didn;t have a player on the park older than 23 after half time...
  16. I'd call that an improvement; in the first half their number 9 was actually able to play keepie uppie in the six yard box before turning and shooting.
  17. Was discussing this on the way to the game today, and we reckoned he may last to Christmas. Any more performances like that today and he'll be lucky to last the month.
  18. Humph for me. Changed the game when he came on.
  19. I, and I'm sure the folk in the US etc would appreciate if some kind soul could record the main incidents and you tube them for those without Alba?

    Traffic Problems

Aye, we left Glasgow at 1pm and got onto the M80 to see the sign "60 mins delay", fair to say it was squeaky bum time. Sat in it for about 5mins and made a sharp exit at the Cumbernauld cut off. Weren't sure of the road to Bonnybridge and out that way, so rejoined at Dobbies and were moving quite well from then until the Arches. Maybe a mile or two and as soon as you got through them and the traffic went down to single file for a time, it was plain sailing. Really looked horrendous going the other way though and we made sure to go home via the Forth Road Bridge.
  21. Perfect summary for me Al. First half we were absolutely woeful, looked lacklustre and disjointed. Half time, Gannon made the changes and in the second half we were brilliant going forward. Humphrey in particular impressed me with his direct running. Defensively, oh dear. We look VERY shaky at the back, understandable, given the inexperience and lack of time together they have had, but we look like we'll concede goals, but by the same token, score some. Goals from a centre half and a midfielder, for Motherwell, who'd have thunk it? Can't really add anything about Hammell, he was pish. Craigan, I think his jacket is on a very shaky peg, looks slow and was reading the game very poorly today for a man of his experience. As an aside, I hope everyone who travelled up there made the game. Those works at Castlecary were awful, we juked off the A80 and through Cumbernauld and missed the majority of it, but it was looking a bit scary for a while. Worse going the other way right enough. Edit to add: What was up with Slane today, injury or just left out?

    Canterbury

Might be a silly question, but whats the white dots about?
  23. I've fired us 3-1 in the Predictor and reckon it'll be close, but our fitness edge should see us nudge infront when it matters. Was speaking to a St Johnstone fan at our pub quiz last night- what is it about folk on the radio supporting them? and he reckons it'll be a close game too, they've had a decent pre season it seems, but he agreed our Europa matches will see us slightly sharper. Just decided to head up to this when I checked my bank last night and it's not as bad as I thought so here's hoping.

Cracking strip. Well done Dave, seems several teams are having these pinstripe hoops this year. Is there any rough idea of a release date?
  25. So wouldn't it be fair to have that reported then as some poor sucker is going to fork out near £30 for a fake?
