  1. Because Keith Lasley was a complete shambles, if he wasn't falling over the ball he was miscontrolling it. I don't know if he maybe picked up an injury when he was done by their #9, but he was a total shambles.
  2. The very same one, I think if we can train him to run diagonally from the sideline instead of straight down it, we may have a the problem solved.
  3. I think O Brien started off well, indeed all our positive play in the first half came from him, but it's true to say he fell out of the game. In Llanelli next week, I'd start Smith and Slane on the wings with O Brien playing just off Sutton.
  4. Forbes underwhelmed me, spent too much of the time passing backwards, Murphy, I've gave my opinion on a nother thread, Saunders looks like he could be solid, but too often, he failed to cut inside and tried to take the hard option and it failed. Slane was a totally different kettle of fish, his direct running and demand of the ball reminded me of a certain J. McFadden, he was always looking for it, it didn't always come off, but he had something. With his direct running and Darren Smith on the other side, we will fare a lot better in the return leg.
  5. I remain hugely unconvinced by Jamie Murphy, he's shown nothing in any of the apperances he's made for us, looks far far far too lightweight- by comparison, Clarkson at his age had had a 17 goal season and looked like a brick shithouse, a very poor player so far, hopefully he'll turn it round, but I am sceptical.
  6. We WILL do them down there. Tonight was bad, but they threw everything (literally- those throw ins!?!?!) at us and had what, 30% possesion and 1 shot (can you call it that) and got their goal. We will have another weeks training, a week with the manager and that will see us progress, I have no doubts. We were awful, and we do need new players, but there isn't much we can do. We seriously need another keeper as Fraser just does not fill me with any confidence- he was Woods-esque, Keith Lasley had a total mare. The team next week, I'd say has to have Darren Smith and Slane starting on the wings, as soon as Slane ran at them, they looked shellshocked and didn't know what to do, if we can run at them and get good service in for Sutton (who had nothing all night go his way) we will progress.
  7. Someone go check back at articles from last year and see if they are word for word, they sure look it!
  8. Great to see some action at last, long may it continue.
  9. You think it may have been us that pulled out? Given the remarks about being told to give the pitch as long as possible, maybe the club felt it in the best interests to cancel the meaningless game?

Aye, so much for trophy ambitions, money grabbing is an ambition now, enjoy your splinters squeak.

Turner's the back up goalie for Everton, sure he's been on the Scotland fringes for a while too.
  12. He came from the MLS, New England Revolution.
  13. It's usually half four, so i'd go on that assumption.

    Canterbury

Are they actually different colours? Surely not?
  15. Nah, given it's holiday time, at Airdrie and given our average home attendance, 3-4,000 was pretty much what I expected, given the quality of opposition.
  16. Where is everyone's ticket for on THURSDAY night? I'm in the east, but just about everyone else is in the West that I've spoken to.
  17. We're hardly haemorraging money, we're one of the only clubs to be turning a profit each season and have one of the lowest levels of debt in the entire league if you read that PWC report. I'd rather we kept going at a steady rate, balancing the books than be in a position like Kilmarnock and be one bad move, especially in "these times" away from going bust.

Sounds like the Cardiff fans reaction to McCormack and the Celtic fan to McDonald
  19. What really would be suicide, would be chucking out money that we don;t have, the books need to be balanced before we do much business, otherwise there won't be a team.

Best of luck to him, a great servant to the club. Hope to see him banging the goals in for BCFC next year.
  21. Stop stealing our players god dammit sons of bitches
  22. Presume it'll be the same as English games where you've gotta be in the stand and not in view of the park or something like that?
