  1. Anyone got an acctual link to watch the draw, other than the stupid wee interactive thing.
  2. I think perhaps it'd be played at their new ground, Parc y Scarlets.

    Latest Rumour

From the posts I read, he does seem to come across as having a problem with Irish people in particular, perhaps I'm reading too much into it, but just my take on it. Any thread that there happens to be a mention of Celtic/Ireland/Immigrants, there is a dig about them being tattie howkers or something similar.

A good Irish manager would really fuck you up wouldn't it?
  5. Something tells me Alex Burns? Soccerbase says: Scottish FA Cup - Round 3 - KO 15:00 St Johnstone 0 (0) - 3(2) Motherwell Clarkson 24 Clarkson 32 McDonald 90

I think, the sheer fact we are being linked with names like McAllister, Staunton and Sanchez, and the fact they've openly admitted they want the job, shows you just how much the profile of Motherwell has been raised that these international calibre managers are wanting a shot at the helm. Best of luck to whoever gets it I say, we're in for a helluva ride.
  7. It's a beige tartan number, similar to the Scotland Euro 96 strip.

    In's And Out's

You say we're fucked, but aren't Falkrik going to lose nigh on 14 players that are out of contract, and are also looking for a new manager and they also finished 10th this year. We're far from the only ones struggling.
  9. Unfortunately, such thing's never happen unless it goes all the way to the PCC and that would be highly unlikely and even then, all that is required that the story is given "due prominence". Only time something like that has ever really happened was the front page apology to the McCanns.
  10. To be fair to them, that's a pretty speedy retraction for a tabloid, well done in forcing them into it though.

    Willie Kilmarnock

Always remember at the Heritage centre watching the 1952 highlights, Aikenhead, Redpath, Kilmarnock... A true legend who had a good innings. RIP
  12. Wait, this was on Clyde 1? Aye, that'll be bullshit then.
  13. Wonder how many of the Bob Malcolm loyal would take to Lennon? For what it's worth, I think it'd be an interesting appointment, the guy is clearly looking to get into management and will have some brilliant connections for us to exploit.
  14. Nijholt, Mio and a Scot....Stevie Kirk?
  15. Clarkson for 300k, they can git tae, double it and we'll talk, 4th top SPL scorer last year. As for McGhee, those quotes really are not what you want to read, and given its in the sunday herald and his ties with them, you got to think they are 100% genuine. He'll have 2 seasons up at Aberdeen and then move on, as like every other club, still, it's been a good time he's been here. Now lets make a good appointment, and that does not mean Terry Butcher. I'd like us to look a bit further than that, Paul Lambert please.
  16. I just like the idea of Boomer covering SPL football.
  17. I believe he's in Brighton.
  18. Um, this may be stating the obvious, but aren't Setanta part owned by ESPN now? I seem to remember NASN (now ESPN I believe) was part of the Setanta group, which was then bought over and rebranded. I wish we had proper ESPN over here, such a good channel.
  19. I'm not seeing the "clearest indication"....anyone?
  20. I've no idea how feasible it is, but it would be good to have something a la Hearts with great players/teams canvas up on the ends of the stands/floodlights. That way, we could immortalise the 1952 squad, 1991, indeed even the 31/32 league winning side if photographs exist and have them there for all to see, then the really important people- Sailor Hunter, Dougie, Joe Wark etc on their own canvasses.
  21. Good old Darryl "what is todays Thesaurus word of the day" Broadfoot. Guy tries to make himself sound more intelligent than he really is at times.
  22. He was also favourite for Hearts and Scotland and he didn't go. I ha ve every confidence McGhee will lead us into Europe this year.
