I would be stunned if he went to Aberdeen. He was less than complimentary about them when we played them up there last season and has saw what forced Calderwood out. If he didn't go to Hearts, he won't take another half step forward, 3 to the side, that would be Aberdeen.

Why don't the mods or OP fire up a poll to see what the fans think? Maybe some sort of indication will help the decision makers see where the fans would want?

A quick check of Bert Klass's site shows we'd be seeded until Q3, then we would face the big guns.

Indeed, although whose to say UEFA won't engineer it to make that possible. Like I said on another thread, a week in Malta wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

No reason to fear for our safety I'd say, I'd fancy us to be 6th or there abouts again next year.

It gives us time, but unfortunately not cheapness as the budget airlines will be sky high by then. Thomas Cook may recieve a record number of bookings for a week in Malta right enough, that would suit me perfectly.

That tour of the north east was really good, a trip down to Wales or N.I would be brilliant. At the end of the day, it's just a competitive pre season for us, so why not try and progress in Europe instead of playing meaningless bounce matches against Queens Park. Already looking at possible opponents for us, it's going to be great. June 22nd can't come quick enough.

Think there's 3 qualifying rounds, a play off round then the groups. Hopefully the first round is Wales or N.I, somewhere affordable to get to and lets us keep funds for further afield should we progress.

Has anyone thought the club may decline the offer? Unlike league placing, I think the club in question need to agree to this method of qualification and with the lack of money, pitch and considerable expense that comes with playing in the early rounds of Europe, perhaps the club have indicated they are willing to pass on the slot?

I don't think he was lifted, saw him bolt back in after the rest of the Killie fans left, he picked up a jacket and wandered round the back of the stand. That certainly would be worrying if Klimpl is leaving. I also don't think Kevin Kyle will be at Killie next year, think a Championship side may come in for him given his goals in a short space of time. I'd be happy if we moved McGarry on for a small fee, although if its true about Lasley, then maybe not as we would be VERY light in the midfield area.

Don't think squad registration applies to the Qualifying rounds of the tournament, could be wrong though.
