  1. I'd assume, given we're at home next week, and the fact its winter, it'll be a state.
  2. I thought it was, after his wonderful wing play, but the papers seem to think it was O Brien.
  3. Huh, northern softies, we made it up to Inverurie!
  4. Maybe they were making too many arrests at the other end? Just another way to control fitba fans.
  5. I don't mean it like that, just making the observation that they seem to be around more at the cup games than normal games, or maybe they're just hidden away at a standard league game.
  6. I think the combination of a freezing cold day, post Christmas skintness and the last minute nature of the ties organisation combined to knock a few figures off the attendance.
  7. No idea about prices, but word of warning for those planning a train day- First Scotrail have already issued notice that there is an alcohol ban on the train, and going from comments from PTFC fans who went to the recent cup tie up there, the police are on the train to enforce it.
  8. I did notice a few police on horses holding about 30 guys next to the civic centre, maybe thats where they were all off to. What is it with the cup and casuals?
  9. Don't forget the water bottle for Craigan to pose as the pics were being taken with the mascots. I forsee HOTD for this thread right enough
  10. I think the crowd was given a little smaller than it was, certainly looked more than 5 and a half thousand in there.

    St Mirren Park

Get the train to Paisley St James, it's across the road. Either that, or it is a mile down Love Street from their old ground, so if you park where you parked before and just walk the other way you'll get there. I think a St Mirren fan on P&B was saying that the new ground is closer to where the buses park than Love Street was.
  12. And remember everyone with any sense was saying that there would never be a decent pitch/much money spent till we move ground.
  13. It must be something to do with the weather- look at Hampden. It's not ideal, but in January, show me a pitch that doesn't look a mess after half a season of wear.
  14. We were by far the better side for MOST of the match, even making allowances for our piss poor first half. Think we can take the replay if we go forward with the same attitude we had today. What has happened to Stephen Hughes? Goal aside, w hich he did take well, he was VERY poor and question marks must surely surround his status in the team.
  15. He certainly did get his tactics all wrong, but fair play to him, he changed it at half time and in the second half we were by far the better side.
  16. Sheridan showed in his little time on the park how much more effective he can be than Sutton. He can move, some of his link up ply with Clarkson was tremendous. They'll be a good partnership methinks.
  17. Our covers I'm sure only protect to -10, so they'll be pushing it if it gets that cold again and given the fact they were on for the Hearts game, it's a worry. Still, no pressure on us to get the game on, it's not SPL rules so we don't need to have USH turned on, and the SFA are happy to let games be played at any time.
  18. 150 coaches, you have to be joking. Christ, it's like Seville on that thread, the numbers ranging from 10,000 to 18,000 and now 25,000 Must be some good smack on the go in Paisley tonight.
  19. Good piece with McGhee on the STV site. I think you can just hear us in the background at the very start showing our appreciation for man of the match Tommy Wilson. STV
  20. It's a different case entirely for the Loco's fans given that the majority are from that area and would make the game easier than the 'Well fans who for one reason or another had to consistently arrange holidays and then the game goes ahead when the country is in the midst of one of the worst winter weather periods in recent memory.
  21. Are we sure this is th clubs doing, perhaps it's Inverurie not giving into the clubs request, remember, both sides must agree on this sort of thing.
  22. A game won at a canter, really the goal in the first few mins killed any Loco hopes and they only really came close once, with Smith saving well. The gulf in class was their for all to see, our players were strolling, with Quinn and Craigan acting as wingers more often than not, if you think the Fir Park pitch is bad you need to see this, I understand it's a Highland League side, but there was not one flat bit of park. Tommy Wilson is a hero. Got to mention the town, we only arrived about 7 so didn't have a lot of time to wander, but passing every shop and seeing all the red and black showed what i meant to the people of Inverurie, a good day out, if a little chilly.
  23. Very strange travelling conditions, the worst of the snow was by at Stirling, and then again at Dundee. After Dundee all the way there it was alright travel, seems that the snow hasn't (or at least hadn't) hit the North East by the time we travelled home.
  24. I can see us at Dundee getting the call to say its off, can't see, with the weathr down here being this bad i can't imagine what it'll be like up there. Can't see us getting much about 40-50 on the roads, so hopefully there won't be too much congestion and we'll get up there on time. Interesting times lie ahead on the Klimpl loyal :S
