  1. Dumb question time...... what happens with all the winners from Qualifying 2? Won't they go into the third round?
  2. Cummins just had surgery for an injury so doubt he'd have been in a position to play today.
  3. I trust everyone has been brushing up on their harmonies and german and french for the Champions League theme. Absolutely buzzing for tomorrow.
  4. Can any one source some sugar paper money that we could use as confetti? Sure you could probably get loads of the stuff quite cheap.
  5. Can you play the Champions League theme on a drum?
  6. I believe that was his last SPL game. At the match seemed like officials gave us everything but I hear most of the big calls were correct. Superb. Absolutely brilliant to a man and the fans were magnificent from first to last, a special season for all at MFC. Now just hope Rangers do the business tomorrow.
  7. What's the best bar for tomorrow out of the roseburn or murrayfield?
  8. Already booked the weeks 31st july and 7 august off work in preparation.
  9. Just shows what having a full team to choose from, free of daft suspensions and niggly injuries can do. Absolutely brilliant from first to last and a well deserved cuffing. Hope we wrap it up on Tuesday.

    St Johnstone

When Humphrey has confidence he has a game like today. He just needs to beat his man early on and he'll do it all game. Simply unplayable today.
  11. Hibs have won one home game this season. Anything less than a win is unacceptable.

    Fir Park News

I'd love to see them ditch the programme completely and go with this type of thing, a weekly paper during the season with MFC news mostly but other football to fill it out as well. Reckon that it's the kind of thing that would go well, even if it was just like the People that you used to (may still get?) with advertising in it. It's something that's missing in Scottish football. Reckon if you sold a weekly paper for 1.50 in shops around Motherwell and the club shop as well as perhaps an online subscription, we'd make a lot more money than we do from the programme- just a hunch.
  13. It's been captured on a few AFC forums too. It was just before his tweet saying "thanks for the support" so I think someones had a word with him and he's taken it down. Classless move to do considering the first thing Keith posted last night was an apology.
  14. Fyvie's take on the situation according to several sites: Fud.
  15. Another note on Thompson's performance yesterday, he was not going to give that penalty until the crowd claimed it, then he pointed. Seemed to wait an eternity before making the award, never saw a ref seemingly swayed like that at Fir Park for a long time.
  16. 4 of those goals have came against lower league sides. He is woeful 9 times out of 10
  17. I was disappointed with it. Lots of gaps and that banner? Very good if ye game was a Saturday.
  18. I'll pay for his taxi. He needs, most of the tIme, 3 touches to get the ball under control and then runs into the corner. He should have been hooked at ht for Humph who MUST start for him next week. Needs a spell on the bench.
  19. Want a picture of my street and the surrounding area? I can do a wee tour for ye. Infact, here's one I took earlier
  20. Very good read Scotsman
  21. I'd be interested and like Yabba's would be able to go £30

    Celtic

Clancy looked very assured all game and played a couple of great balls out of defence.
  23. Poor marking from a set piece cost us. Hammell I think, caught sleeping, a shame really as we were, IMO worthy of a point, Celtic very poor and impotent. Would love to see Wilson falling over when Ojamaa was going through again as no way looked like a foul. All in all, a 1-0 defeat is nothing to be ashamed of, considering how impressive Celtic have been recently, we've been beaten a lot more comprehensively by them with worse sides.
  24. That was something glossed over in most reports I read- only saw it mentioned in the Rancid from what I recall.

    Fir Park Dj Must Go

We were saying the same thing last night, with some folk going to e-mail the club to say how utterly ganting it is. If we are about trying to improve the "matchday experience" then this starts with the music being played too. Surely there is some way we can get fan involvement in this? Maybe tie it in with season ticket holders/well society members where there is a draw at the start of the season and the winners are given their chance to make a playlist up (with a few rules thrown in about swearies and certain, perennial Motherwell songs (up the well and, erm, the Samba song being untouchable) for the pre match, half time and post match. Anything is better than what we have now, which is just embarassingly bad.
