I'm almost certain that it was 15 that scored and missed the pen. The team sheet said it was Watt.
Jamie Pollock certainly showed some really nice touches.
I wasn't that enamoured by the 7 for the whites. Went down far too easily and only won freekicks as it was an in-house friendly. He did mump and moan a lot...
Esteban hasn't really impressed. I'm thinking he is black 10. The wee right back for the blacks has looked decent.
Black no 9 just tried to chip the keeper. He's been alright.
Josh Watt just scored 4th for the blacks. Most subs made at half time were for the blacks. Weakened them (on paper) as Jennings, Lasley and Humph went off
The team in black are 3-0 up. Scorers were Humph, Sutton and an OG by Hutch after good work by Humph again.
The team in black have a wee trialist at right back. He's impressed me most of the 7 triallists.
Oh - and I'm in the posh seats
But seriously - I think the Hearts support was so low because it was the Calcutta Cup game at Murrayfield. Will have been a lot of Hearts fans either going to that, or watching that on the box with a few beers in the house/pub instead of heading through West to see them play us - when they've been pretty rank!
They all played great but I'm saying Lasley for two things:
1) His great run into the box then cross for the 2nd goal
and 2) that fantastic wee shimmie where he side stepped one or two Hearts players in the middle of the park.
Shame that just after that his next move was a tackle trying to keep the ball!
That's where I sit. How dare you lump me in with the daft eejits that surround me!
Does anyone know who does the dull monotone "Haw referee. Come up here and make that decision." shout? It does my box in - every home game....
I'll 2nd that post above. The club didnae lose money as there were a right few empty seats amongst the Gers support.
There was also the added benefit of having the Cooper suite open for Well fans only as well!
