I doubt we'd have two full time GK coaches on the payroll.

If the appeal isnt returned until after our game then he will be allowed to play wont he? Is that not the rule?
-
They'd actually cut the live music down to a minimum and werent paying huge amounts to the band either, its been the same band in there for a good few years.
-
I honestly think they will overturn Nigels red card.
-
Shut while they look for someone to fund insurance. They had been in discussions for months with Heineken looking for a loan of around 40k but have been told to bolt because they arent selling enough booze. If they cant find funding from somewhere then its goodnight Vienna.

Yup, Dee is in contact with the club and from what I hear its all pretty positive. The club have been really supportive so far and its much appreciated.

I dont think we are actually being freely allowed to stand, the Stewards were back to asking us to sit down again but seemed to give up after 3 or 4 attempts.

He played ok but he didnt pick out Law, it was Lasley.

Thanks, its good to get some good feedback and the only way is up. I suppose the next aim is to try and get the end section completely full of like minded individuals for home games and see where it goes from there. Ive been friends with everyone involved for as long as ive been going to games but its only after the recent trip to Aalesund ive truly believed it can work on a smaller scale like we have at fir park and got more involved in the organising. The only thing i'd say is that it would be fantastic if everyone on here who is dishing out the praise would come down and join us for a game or two, see if they like it. I notice Jay saying his lot are going to move over which is great news, if a few more follow suit then the atmosphere will only get better.

We have an excellent first 11 than can compete against anyone in the league although our bench is amongst the weakest and if we were to suffer a few injuries/suspensions or were to lose Murphy without bringing in an able replacement then we could struggle for goals. We'v had a fantastic start to the season but try not to get carried away, I expect when Sergio settles at Hearts they will be a much more cohesive unit and with the size of squad they have injuries wont affect them nearly as much. Top six again and a decent cup run would be a fantastic achievement for this squad.

Enjoyed the game yesterday and delighted with the 3 points, after the first half I thought we completely dominated and there was only going to be one winner. Took a mate along yesterday for his first ever football match and he absolutely loved bouncing around down at the end of the east stand. Hopefully another new dosser!

They didnt take the time to find a steward, they took the time to come home, turn on their PC and email the clubs chief safety/security officer to complain about our "little groups" racist slurs. Edit: Wanted to make it clear that i'm not having a go at the club in any way, they have been absolutely fantastic with us since last season and are in full support of what we'r trying to do, its just a shame some people seem hell bent on squashing it.
-
Jay has described it spot on. No idea who reported our "racism" or why it could be conceived as offensive.
-
The song from page one has been sung at the last few games in support of Chris Humphrey. Someone in our support at Kilmarnock reported us to the club for "racist chanting" towards Humphrey.

As Neil mentioned in his post, alot of ideas and a couple of the chants were picked up from our recent trip to Aalesund. It certainly gave us alot more hope moving forward, their section where the "Stormen" sit is roughly the same size as the last section of the east stand and the noise generated was unbelievable, it proved to us that it can work on a small scale. I was particularly impressed with one song they have where the stormen sing one line and then the main stand opposite sing it back. Cant quite see the main stand here bouncing around and joining in any time soon though Edit: Another excellent idea from Norway that could be something to replicate here was from the Valerenga v Molde game, the Valerenga fans have a small section set aside for a "mini ultras" group, looked like kids from about ages 6 to 14, all sitting together with a group of adults at the perimeter to supervise and start songs. It gets them interested in going to games through singing and adding a bit of colour at an age when concentrating on the football for a full 90 minutes isnt exactly the most exciting of prospects. They then move into the section with the older guys and girls. With the free season tickets that are on offer through the local schools, it might be an idea to try and open some dialogue with the club about starting something similar here, possibly in the cooper stand.

I dont usually care whats played but where do they get the mental mash ups that seem to be on every week just now? They are horrible and sound like they were mixed by a deaf child.
-
Also, I thought it was clear McCall had instructed every free kick to be taken short, nae big hoofs across the park, it led to some brilliant passing moves.
-
Law is tremendous, Higdon is fat and that strip we played in today should be the top all season.
-
Excellent, Aalesunds are at home to neath the day after we land so we'l get to see them at home in the Europa League on the Thursday, away to Molde on the Sunday and then away to Neath the following Thursday on a bus leaving from Motherwell. Decent enough pre season even if it doesent really involve Motherwell.

I'd say Al is spot on, one of our mates is a cracking player and has been offered trials at a professional club (where he'd walk into the first team in my opinion) but never pursued it because he has a good job with the council and doesent want to take the risk of quitting that only to find himself on the scrap heap a year on two down the line with no job and no real savings.

Aye, I just bought that controller.

Its Paul Heffernan.
