Yes.

Sportsound are reporting it'll be a foreign manager but that it's not Ketsbaia.
-
I thought Wright had moved to St Johnstone from England, so aye that's fair enough. Stephen Kenny, Pat Fenlon and Ian Baraclough were the names I had in mind, all pretty terrible. St Mirren had the guy Kearney for about 3 months who kept them up in the play-offs then left to go back to being a PE teacher. Don't know if he's viewed as a success or not.
-
Just about every manager that's moved here from the Irish leagues has been a total disaster. I'm struggling to even think of 1 success? Our signings from there have been pretty poor as well. Blaney being the most "successful" says a lot.
-
McBookie take bets but they close it down at around 4/5pm every day and it re-open it again at about 9/10am.
-
That's the exact reason the club know they can come out with the sort of shit they have this week and keep treating fans like shit in general - they know we'll keep piling our money in through the turnstiles regardless. The club won't give a fuck about your Well Society payment so long as you still turn up on a Saturday and hand over your cash. There's only 1 way to break that cycle. I completely missed them making an argument about the 3rd kit.
-
That's fair enough but they don't run the club day-to-day. The best way to make the point and pulling any funding would be to stop buying any tickets/tell them you won't be renewing your season ticket?
-
The Well Society wouldn't have been the ones guiding the club's reaction to anything this week, so not sure what cancelling that direct debit achieves.
-
Ryan Lowe, Steven Schumacher, Ian Evatt, Van Der Gaag or the random mad Swede who appeared on the bookies list from nowhere please.
-
Lennon will be another version of Alexander. He'll come in and gradually fall out with everyone over the space of 18 months - 2 years and leave the place a complete disaster behind him. Oh, and he threatened to have his partner stabbed. So there is that. We shouldn't be entertaining the idea of him even in the slightest.
-
Yep, and rightly so. But someone who hated us wouldn't go out their way to apply twice.
-
It's not their job to come up with names, what difference would that make? Imrie can't hate us that much, he's applied for the job twice before.

It's taller than the floodlights by 10metres, that's almost by an extra 1/3 - and they are at least part of an existing building/structure. This mast will sit behind the Stand completely on its own and it basically the height the South Stand would be if it had a 3rd tier on it, it's fucking huge. It'll likely need an aircraft warning light installed on top of it. Clearly wherever they put it it's going to be visible but there must be a corner of somewhere like Eurocentral or Ravenscraig where it is far enough away from any housing and some sort of attempt could be made to hide it in amongst some trees or something so as not to become a nuisance to the residents and be such an obvious eyesore.
-
They have owned both houses closest to the stand at various times though never both houses at the same time. Most recently they owned the 2nd closest house but that was sold to one of the directors when we went into administration.
-
That's not what it says at all now is it? I'm sure the deal he signed was more to do with access to the masts being attached to the floodlights at the time years ago and any upgrades and maintenance they would need over time but this new mast is obviously the mobile company trying to push this on to the next level. FWIW not all residents were made aware of these plans. Only a select few were notified ahead of time with most of them only finding out over the last few days when the notice was posted in the Motherwell Times.
-
It's been a good while since I posted in this hell scape but here goes. There's already 2 phone masts attached to the floodlights so if you've no phone signal in the stadium currently I doubt this will improve things much. No the club don't own that row of houses. I don't see how the property prices won't be affected. Those houses already have a tougher time selling than others because of the South Stand but I'm not sure that's an argument for making that even more difficult by sticking a 45 metre high tower right at the bottom of the gardens. I'm not sure people understand the scale of this thing, it's 50% taller than the stand so it'll tower above that never mind everything else round about it. The South Stand is 30metres high this mast will be 45metres. There's a notice on the governments own site warning against having them places in residential areas or near schools (it's right over the fence from Fir Park School) as a precaution against any unknown negative health impacts. I'm far from an anti 5g head case but there must be a far more sensible place to put it where it'll not take over the place and can be hidden from sight a bit easier. Motherwell aren't receiving a penny from this apparently. John Boyle signed a one-off deal back in the day allowing the mobile company access the site for 50 years.

There's still the match day gear available as well (we have someone working on them currently) , although the back of the shirt is the cheaper option but has to be sorted by Tuesday as the order goes into the manufacturer. The match day stuff will stay open for another week or so before the order goes in. Cheers to the guys who have offered to pitch in.

Fraz will LOVE this Bucs!

As well as our usual plea for new players this summer we are also on the hunt for a new manager and sponsors. Having just lost 5/6 players from last year's squad we're looking to add players for all positions in the team. If anyone would be interested in sponsoring us for the coming season we are looking to get sponsors on our new match day tracksuits - £300, new match day polo shirts - £250 and on the back of our new home kit - £150, (Our away kit is currently sponsored by Strongman Removals). In return we will push your business online, give you a mention on all our match reports and will do what we can to get involved with the business and bring some custom your way. We are also in the process of linking up with a charity and are hoping this will gain a bit of publicity in the local papers. Lastly, our manager from last year is making a playing comeback so we are looking for someone looking to take his place running purely the football side of the team, alongside the guys we have running all the teams off field business. We play on Saturday mornings and arrange our games around the Motherwell fixture list so everyone has the chance to make it to the game in the afternoon, if they wish. If you or anyone you know might be interested send us a message here, on Twitter (@firparkcornerfc) or on Facebook (/firparkcornerfc) Cheers.

Haha, I've got another 3 years left in me yet before that time comes. It's always nice to be head hunted though, clearly (as with most games) I was our stand out player on the night.
-
I reckon he'll be here next year continuing in his current under 20s role and combining it with either the 1st team coach role Robinson vacated or taking over as assistant from Faddy, who I don't think too many expect will hang around next season.
-
It's that time of year again. We are on the hunt for new players to add to our squad for the 2017/18 season. We play on Saturday mornings, with kick off usually around 10/11am, in the IFA Scottish League as well as the Scottish and British Cups. Our fixture list is arranged around the SPFL fixtures to allow everyone the chance to make it to the Motherwell game in the afternoon. Training is on twice a week, (we're looking at Tuesday/Thursday next season), to give shift workers the chance to make it along as often as possible. If anyone is interested we have a few training sessions left for this season before starting back in July to begin for next year. You can get in touch by leaving me a message here, on Twitter (@firparkcornerfc), Facebook (Firparkcornerfc) or email firparkcornerfc@gmail.com.
