I don't see what the point is of saying how many tickets we've sold. Is it meant to make us feel guilty that we've only sold that many? The article would've been far more informative had it listed what the ticket office opening hours were so folk knew when was the last time they could get tickets.

I'm sure every team used to relish seeing Bob Malcolm's name in the Rangers team. I wonder if we were to sign MaKalamby that many folk would suddenly say that his distribution was great.

If ye find it embarrasing then the simple answer is to simply ignore them. If folk didn't like the choir back in the day then I'm sure they stood somewhere else. If the Well Boys main crime is being embarrasing then its one that very easy to solve. If you watch the game you'll find it easy to ignore them. The Well Boys complaints with the stewards are a seperate issue which will require a lot of come and go from both sides. Having discussions with the clubs outwith when the games on is probably the best way to go about it.

You could apply that to nearly everyone in our team though. Its a bit like saying that if our team were consistent then we'd be serious challengers for Europe every season. Smith is a great shot-stopper but its his only real strength. He still has a lots of other parts of his game which require work namely dealing with crosses and commanding his box. I think he won't really peak until he is in his early 30s and has a bit of good experience and maturity about him. What worries me is that if he were to leave then I can't think of another goalkeeper in Scotland who would be an able replacement for him. I think its more likely that we'll have to go for some obscure reserve/3rd team choice in lower level English leagues.

Its nothing like Stranraer though. Stranraer has an extra 3,000 odd capacity hence the reason we got a decent sized allocation

I don't think is has to be moved at all (as much as many of us would like them to). If we were in their shoes would we not want to play at our own ground where we've more chance of causing an upset?

Whilst I can see why some folk would have a minutes appluase, it could look really silly were we to lose a goal or had a man sent off or something. We've had plenty of chances to show that Phil is still in our thoughts and we've still got the match to officially name the old Main Stand still to happen. I'll be taking a back step and allow those who knew him to pay attention and give them the privacy to pay their respects. I'll pay my own respects by remembering his achievements as a play with a quiet moment or two whatever I'm doing that day.

Mixture of both. Majority are recruited by the club. The rest are outsourced from contractor and from Partick Thistle and a small contingent of Airdrie stewards. In reply to mon_da_wells post - I'd assume the bottom 4 in the top tier were to stop Killie fans from trying to go into the top tier. I've no idea as to why the other were posted at the very top tier. Perhpas they may have been kept in reserve in case they were needed and their supervisor would know where they were.

As someone else pointed out to me last night - Who said they were there to watch any Motherwell players? Like you I assume it must've been Porter they were their to see and if it was I doubt many would gamble on him on last nights performance.

I understand your frustration in the game not being on but I think its really foolish to say we should have points docked. The league is still very tight and a couple of points could make a major difference at the end of the season. I don't see what fining us will do as its not as if the club are sitting about doing nothing. We require major investment in our pitch and any fine will eat into that.

I think its best to wait until Monday before fretting about it. Nay offence to Bop but he's only stating his opinion without really knowing what works planned over the weekend to get the game on and the like so I wouldn't get my knickers in a twist about it.

Should you not do that the other way about to get the goals per game ratio?
