If thats the case then their winner will be chopped off for offside as karma for Ross Forbes goal last season.

Flow is it definitely at 1pm? It was advertised as a 12 o'clock kick off on the tannoy at the game on Saturday. I was also told that the gates were to open for 11am

On yersel pal, your enthusiasm should be admired not scalded. At the worst you'll look a little silly IF we get beat -so what - some folk make themselves look like complete tits on this board and it didn't stop them posting shite. None of us know how the next 2 games will pan out, we can look at the other teams squad, average crowd or whatever useless stat folk want to analyse. The truth is, this game is difficult to predict. In the meantime, whilst paying the opposition a healthy dose of respect, as fans we've got to be optimistic else theres no point in us turning up.

Faddy left us in 2003 so yer a wee bit out wi yer 5 years lol

Already covered in that area in Jennings and Lasley. We need an attacking/creative midfielder and at 31 Scott Severin's "best" days are behind him.

Nope, UEFA rules that Motherwell couldn't sell tickets for the bucket seats at either end of the Stand as they need a back before they can be called a seat apparently, hence the reason they were taped off.
-
I didn't see much of the first half but I'm of the exact same opinion as yourself. Yes he made himself available but his use of the ball is shocking. Sometimes I wonder if I'm watchin a different Keith Lasley from the one people on here watch.

I take it your looking at the Stand South which is actually the South Side of the East Stand. I tried to reserve tickets online for my dad to collect yesterday afternoon and the online system was playing up. They've not taken any money out my account as the booking system failed when it went to take payment. I phoned the club to check and was told there was a problem with booking tickets online. Whoever answered the call couldn't wait to hang up and they wouldn't even reserve tickets as "Your only option is to queue tomorrow night afore the game". That was the only answer I got for any question I asked. It seems the club have a little more work to do regarding customer service.

You are wrong. All stands and hospitality are included.

Thats fair enough but a contract was offered to Coke in addition to those improved contracts so its still a wage which was already budgeted for.

If Forest aren't interested then how could we be sure Everton would be?

I wonder if we ever move if the official website will mibby shows us a couple of teasers ie. A pic of half a breezeblock or the corner of a steel girder! Some folk on here have to get a bit of a grip. Fir Park is hardly "falling to pieces" and its certainly not a "death trap". Yes its in need of repair but its not about to fall down. A number of folk are forgetting about the history of Fir Park. Its constantly evolved to the state its in today from when we first moved there. Every so often the stadium requires some new change or another from installing floodlights, covered terracing or new stands.

Whilst I admire yer enthusiasm SD, our board will go for whatevers cheapest to keep the costs down. A thoughtless lego-built stadium is sadly inevitable. If we're gonna continue wi adding to our stadium wishlist then decent leg-room for tall folk should be number one on the priority list. If we move to a new stadium then I think we should look to replicate the old turnstle block which used to sit where the Chapman building is now. For me though I'm in the stay at Fir Park camp. All stadiums have high maintenance costs as Health and Safety regs lead to more pressure on the club with regards to maintenance. Fir Park is fit for purpose. Yes its seen better days but what old building hasn't. If we move to a new stadium in a couple of years time then we could be in the same boat as we're currently in, in 20+ years time unless we go down the Falkirk route of joint ownership.

SteveDiggle - don't get upset at Fraz. Fraz is upset at the Happy Clappy club cause its another club that he got rejected from. Fraz has to go on committees so that clubs don't ban him!
-
Aye - its been there for a few seasons now

I understand peoples optimism but this is Motherwell we're talking about - we've still got Round 2 to negotiate. Jumping the gun in checking out who we could play in the next round makes any defeat seem all the more worse. Look at this years Scottish Cup for example. Lets look forward to who we could be playing in the 2nd round first of all.
-
Did Clarky, Porter and McCormack not do that a couple of years ago?
-
Craig Brown is more of a Motherwell man than some folk on here cause he stays till the end of Motherwell games!

I think thats the groundstaff

Shocked. Ok I'll tell everyone, as a follow up to winning Best Media relations in the Clydesdale Bank SPL awards last week the club have agreed to further strengthen relations with the media by agreeing to Flows request to become part-time sex slave to Raman at STV and Vougie Dipond at the BBC. There was also further celebration last night for Lukas Jutkiewicz who scooped the club sweepstake in how long it would take Flow to complete the "lap of honor" last night. Lukas limped round with Flow to give him moral support to complete it in a time of 20 mins after Flow decided to start while the game was still on going. It is understood that Flow had been in special training for this event by doing shuttle runs to Uppercrust during the season. Quality "dad run" Flow!

Last night proved we don't play well in front of a big crowd at Fir Park. I'd like to thank everyone who left and only wish a few more folk had fucked off so we coulda got a winner.

He's a ginger Brian Kerr so its a naw from me.

I see a couple of folk have praised him for the save against Robbie Keane. The truth is that the shot was pretty much at him and was as much down to poor finishing from Keane as it was a good save from Fraser. Having someone with the presence and physique of Ruddy this season has given us something which we've been lacking for a good couple of years. Fraser was signed as backup whenever Buzz hadn't confirmed if he was staying or not. He was signed as backup and I'm happy for him to stay at Fir Park in this capacity. Replacing Ruddy with a keeper of similar stature and presence as Ruddy isn't going to be an easy job but for me it has to be a priority during the summer.

With indoor football theres no need to re-arrange what week the season starts and everyone can go wearing T-shirts or whatever they want, and the lights indoors would help the grass to grow so there'd be no need to buy and fancy light rig, and wee could pipe songs from speakers in the wall to create some atmosphere, we could hang a scoreboard from the roof which all stands could see and we could have underground tunnels to the stadium from everyones front door so we wouldn't have to go out in the cold or worry about slipping on some ice and we could have bars with pitchside views so we can enjoy a bacardi breezer or whatever poofjuice is the latest fad. Either that or we could grow a set and quit moaning at a bit of cold/rain and muck.
