Now I am sure you will all agree that this is an informative statement Lets end this debate sorry slagging match
  3. BBC claim its on the website but I would imagine that it will be a live text feed only
  4. Is someone at the wind up?? Fernando Morientes?? His name does not appear on their squad list on the UEFA website but!!!!! he could be their wildcard
  5. At her age god I hope not
  6. Right on my man It is blatantly obvious that the SPL should now be looking at setting up their own TV channel and if the OF don't like it they can go and play with themselves and see how much that improves their standing and achievements in Europe
  7. I totally agree although my wife who hates Baseball and Grid Iron would have a totally different opinion on this Thank god for Sky+
  8. 4-2-3-1 Fraser Saunders Craigan Reynolds Hammel Lasley Jennings Slane Forbes O'Brien Sutton Although this is based on no facts other than Gannon likes to play this formation
  9. If he lost 2 stone he would still be heavier and slower than the fat Ronaldo
  10. Shocking and totally disgraceful these idiots should never be allowed at Fir Park again. As has been said earlier no excuse for hitting an old man drunk or sober. Not in to mob violence but I hope they get what they deserve
  11. Got back at 6pm tonight spent an extra day in the Stradey Park Hotel to sample some of the delights of the area and also enjoyed hearing all the stories from some of the bar staff of the antics that some of the 'Well fans got up to . Llanelli is somewhere that my wife and I will definately visit again with the Stradey Park high on our list. The fanzone was wonderful met so many people that I hadn't seen for ages, loved the girl getting the beamer when she turned up for work but the best bit when getting a burger from one of the vans the guy said " I'm disappointed someone called me a sheep shagger and I've never been near one, I don't even sell any lamb" The hospitality of the town, the club and the hotel was wonderful and of course the win made it all the better. Thanks Llanelli see you soon
  12. I don't remember that bit but I do remember that we went for a long stretch without a win and that McLeod had been at the club for about 3 or 4 months. What I do remember is that we were crap that night and that it was one hell of a long journey home. Oh by the way Fergie had only been there from the start of the season and that Harper scored 3.
  13. 8-0 at Pittodrie on a wet wednesday night at the end of the 70's. That was a long trip home
  14. If we score in the first 10 I can see us getting 3 maybe 4 but if they can keep it scoreless until half time then we are out cos I think they will get confidence enough to try and hit us on the break. It could be very squeaky on the old bum next week
  15. Alright here we go, lets keep this short and sweet cos I only have 1 hour for lunch.... Last night was one of the most inept performances I have ever seen from a Motherwell team. Okay so we had a lot of posession but what did we do with it? Nothing, absolutely nothing back and forward and back again, side to side lots of nice short safe passes but nothing that could cut open a pub team, and lets face it that is all they are. At one stage I thought I heard thunder then realised that the number 4 was starting to run, what a fat bastard but he managed to keep the ball more than our players. I know some people think McGarry played okay and was busy but pu...lease. His control is pish, his distribution worse okay so he looked for the ball but he did nothing with it. I would say sell him but we couldn't give him away. Lasley was crap, don't start me on Sutton, Murphy is disappointing. O'Brien was full of energy and tried his best but I don't think he got any support from the old hands. Forbes played better 2nd half I thought he was a bit scared of taking conntrol in the 1st 45 and looked to give it to Lasley too often who did feck all. McHugh and Slane did okay and looked the business and 'Beanstalk' was quite impressive although he did tire toward the end. All in all we were pish but we can play better and if we can get an early goal next week then we will go through. The longer it goes scoreless though the more confident they will become. Anyway I am still looking forward to acouple of days in Wales and god I hope its the right result I work with too many Falkirk supporters to have it the other way
  16. Sad to see him go agree with Haggis that i have never seen a player cover so much of Fir Park. All the best Davie thats for the memories.
  17. + 2 from Tullibody thats 41
  18. That's the reality check guys. Motherwell are, have been and always will be a selling club. It is our position in Scottish football to produce good young players who serve us well for a short period of time and then move on to bigger and better things. In some cases they will return to finish their career and maybe even inspire a younger generation but the hard fact is that we will never see the likes of a Joe Wark again at Motherwell. The same could be said for our managers over the last 10 years too with 4 of our last 6 gaffers being in the English Premier since they moved on and that will be the target of the next one whoever he is. Sorry but this is the lot of the 'Well fan and has been for years we should just hope that as they rise to stardom that they can give us a bit of enjoyment along the way and who knows maybe even a bit of silverware too
  19. ' Flow, any more news about ticket sales at the stadium? Ta Ernie
  20. Can I suggest that before we all go completely of the deep end and before we insult the Welsh nation any more we wait until the club tell us officially what is happening?
  21. Good choice of dates Pete. I hope you will be as happy as I have been for 22 years. BTW it was a Thursday in 1987 as well. I hope that the weather is as good as it was 22 years ago.
  22. Thanks 'Flow here's hoping I don't think I will be popular queueing for tickets in my wedding suit

    Motherwellnet

Absolutely fabulous Surprised to see that Faddy is the 8th highest Scottish goalscorer and I really liked the "Pride of Lanarkshire" I already knew it but it is good to see it in black and white I will be visiting on a number of occassions.
  24. Just be aware that because of UEFA regulations, we must take names and address details of every ticket holder so that'll be a bit of a pain at the Ticket Office. But with 10,000 at Airdrie I don't think anyone needs to rush in for tickets, everyone who wants a ticket will get one no problems. We're trying to arrange selling on the night as well but that hasn't been confirmed as yet! Just waiting for confirmation from the Welsh on their leg tickets. As soon as things are confirmed, we'll announce and get tickets on sales. 'Flow Flow, how confident are you that the tickets will be for sale on the night? I have a wedding on saturday and it may increase my popularity if I can get a ticket on the night. What's worse the 2nd July is my wedding anniversary
