  1. Looked soft-ish to me but you've seen them given in the past. For certain teams anyway... Kinda hard to tell if maybe underfoot conditions played a part though
  2. Hopefully a decent amount of new st's. Certainly got my first after the 91 cup final. Mind you, maybe WINNING made the difference...
  3. Certainly. Both could have seen red and had no complaints. Having already been booked, the player should most certainly have walked for his handball. It was a clear-cut decision and the ref flat-out bottled showing the 2nd yellow. I usually side with you when it comes to reading about how gash refs are on here after EVERY game but on this occasion I don't think the ref has a leg to stand on. He had a poor game but could surely have used some help from his assistants.
  4. McCall's short-term signings have all done a decent job and contributed something to a greater or lesser extent but I'd be surprised if he kept any if them in. Perhaps he'd consider a year or two deal for Jones as a cheap option squad player but, longer term, I have a feeling McCall has other irons in the fire for us.
  5. Got to disagree with you here GazzyB. Ref could/should have sent 3 players off yesterday and none of them could have any complaints. I can see why he gave Lasley only a yellow but we'd have bern screaming for red if that tackle had been on one of our guys. Ref was trying to be non-controversial and it worked out to the detriment to the game. Plus, does Las make the tackle if the ref has already shown the red to the Celtic player for HIS earlier leg-breaker?
  6. Ref certainly had TWO opportunities to send off Masturbatorvic and, for whatever reason, chose not to. Lasley, I think, was lucky he caught Loovens with his trailing leg. Had it been his leading leg he would have seen red - and perhaps have broken the boys leg. Ref was unsighted for Craigan's handball so Craigan is VERY lucky not to have been carded for that. Poor show from the ref all round.
  7. Hope you don't mind, but I grabbed this and ran it through some noise reduction software and tweaked it a wee bit so it would be easier to see.
  8. Nice of them to pay tribute to Lennon's teeth
  9. What was the GB one? Didn't see/notice it
  10. Better team won. Their midfield bossed ours and we didn't look crisp with our passing or sharp in the tackle. Colossal disappointment, honestly, when all we can really take from the game is Gunning's shot, Hutchy's performance and the fan's card display.
  11. Motherwell: Randolph, Hateley, Craigan, Hutchinson, Hammell, Gunning, Humphrey, Lasley, Jennings, Murphy, Sutton. Subs: Hollis, Jeffers, Jones, Saunders, Forbes. Celtic: Forster, Wilson, Loovens, Majstorovic, Izaguirre, Brown, Ki, Mulgrew, Commons, Samaras, Hooper. Subs: Zaluska, Stokes, Cha, McCourt, Forrest.
  12. No Ross and no Saunders but Gunning in and Hammell in midfield? Hmmm....
  13. Enjoy your day, Dossers! Wish I was there with you!!
  14. There's only one Stevie Craven!! LEGEND!!! ;-)
  15. BASTARD!!!! I was about to start a sweepstakes thread for when he would win Celtic a pen. Felt confident with choosing 68 minutes, too.
  16. That's the one I am going with. I'd forgotten how well taken it was until tassinari posted the video clips on FB this morning. Phil's was a cracker too, though and Griffin swung in a great cross for Fergie's. of course, Kirkie's MEANT most! 4 good yin's to choose from.
  17. Cheers to Andy_P who added a poll at the same time I did!
  18. Got a sneaky feeling Mo Ross will be at right back and Saunders, therefore, will be on the bench
  19. Hmmm....apparently I can't post a poll from my moby phone? Feck!! I'll add the options once I get breakfast out the way and fire up the ol' PC
