I get the diamond part, I'm not getting the flat part. To me 'flat' would imply 3 (0r 4) playing in flat line, not in a diamond. But I might be being a bit of a mong about this.

Said on here last week after the Rangers game that the result wouldn't make or break our season but how we REACT to it just might. Delighted to see that one short week later we are 6 points better off and says a lot about the character of our team and, perhaps, also speaks to thee job that the maligned Stuart McCall is doing. think he packed it in a few weeks before he left us to be honest, going by the comments on here at the time anyway. he got what he wanted already anyhow - a new contract at Blackburn - so some of the motivation/desire/willingness has maybe left him. The Duke he aint.
