Same old, same old - right on top of them and then give away the simplest of goals. We certainly played better in the 2nd than the 1st though - just seemed like Saunders had all our best chances for some reason.

That's what I am saying. They let us have plenty of the ball where it doesn't hurt them but when it comes to the danger area we have been shown to be pretty much impotent.

H-T and it is pretty poor stuff from us. They are letting us play in the first 2/3rds but in the final 1/3rd when we are being asked to actually create we are showing nothing

Shannon always got short shrift in that team from the fans but, in reality, was a real steady eddie. never really put a foot wrong but, perhaps, was overshadowed by the more swashbuckling ginger over on the left.
