Disappointing season, for me. When we did the 'where will we finish?' league prediction thingy before the start of the season I said third. The annoying thing is that we can all look back at more than one or two results where had a goal stood or a pen gone in or we'd gotten a result against All kidding aside about me being disappointed, I'm actually proud of what these guys have achieved this year especially given how tumultuous it has been. Well done to all.

For us, that's gonna be the way it is I'm afraid. The occasional loanee or same-ol' same-ol' free-agent who has beenn kicking around the SPL. Scottish Football has been busted by the OF and we can't afford to fix it so scraps it'll have to be to bolster our youth system guys.

More like since the South Stand went up (forced by the Govt). Didn't start off too bad but year on year it got worse - the touchline by the East Stand was well dodgy and had poor drainage even then. When I stopped going at the end of the '03-'04 season it was already pretty bad. Once the undersoil heating went in (forced by the SPL) it has deteriorated even more rapidly.

It's been getting worse and worse ever since that stand went up. Used to be such a good surface too, before the government decided we had to build seated stands and the SPL decreed we needed undersoil heating. Not just OUR fault....those other bodies have a bit of culpability too.

That's a fair point. One of the things I HATE about the modern game is that they aren't all at 3pm on a Saturday.

And that HAS to start at the top - the SPL/Clubs HAVE to sort things out and get punters back through the doors regualrly again.

That's the whole catch-22 though about these things though, isn't it? They don't get the season ticket money in cos folks (rightly) stop buying and then we can't pay the players of the level we have right now, or can't afford to rip up the pitch again and the fare for the punter is further devalued etc etc etc.

SPL is letting the fans down by charging too much, having games at ridiculous times and allowing cops to treat decent citizens like criminals. Fans are, rightly, voting with their feet.
