Seems to me like the sort of player that would pay back that initial investment not just in a sell-on profit but in league position. I mentioned speculate to accumulate earlier and I really hope Boyle bites the bullet on this one and gets us Ruddy as a nice wee Xmas prezzie.
HOw's this for a piece of spin by the media? Saw it on the BBC rumours page - nice to see the Daily Ranger put a spin on it that shows their faves to be in control...God forbid a player would want out so the D.R. says the club wants the player gone. It's just a wee thing but it is indicative of how these hacks work.
Do a site-search for proxies. Weeyin had a thread one time about it and it seems to work for sevral folks (although not me for some weird reason). The thread (or post0 was maybe 6 weeks to 2 months ago I reckon.
Fair enough. But if they wnat him that bad then slap an extra 30 grand on it and THEN we can start negotiating. I'd rather we kept him until his contract runs out than strengthen them just to save us one wage - unless that wage is going on bringing someone else in.
As it stands we lose a good player and give a rival a good player just for the sake of 20 grand? Naw, no thanks.
I think yellow was probably correct but, by the letter of the law, I think McGeady could have no complaints if the ref had actually flashed red. Mind you, I wonder what the colour might have been if it had been Forbes kicking out at McGeady...
Really, it's about time clubs thought about putting squad numbers and names on the back of jersey's to help the poor wee hacks out. Oh, they should also be issued with a team sheet prior to kick off too to make things even easier for them.
Oh wait....
Well we got what we deserved out of that - hee haw. Celtic had us chasing shadows for the most part. Disappointed, especially after being 2-1 up at half-time but only three shots at goal in the 2nd half. You have to say there were some first class finishes from them.
What a fanny. Has a go at Gannon for having a pop at Thompson - whose performance Dallas has already had to apologise for! Then he comes up with "I will be making no further comment" - aye, stick yer heid back in the sand, Shug. It's the SFA way.
