I don't think Doobydoobydoo was too great at all. He had one or two class games, right enough, but generally wasn't too good and had zero consistency.

I think a lot of that has to do with them - like Aberdeen - still living in the 80s a bit much. It's not like we get pissed off at finishing 7th cos, hey in the 30's we won the league. The 'New Firm' seem to have this weird and unjustified sense of entitlement purely because 25-30 years ago they did quite well.

It' all the more galling when you think we play with pacy wide-men. Mind you, I ALWAYS hated playing against 10-men. Their energy levels would seem to get up and they'd work harder/play with a chip on the shoulder.

I don't think they were aimed at Crags at all and I think that is why JG has taken umbrage at the Beeb (which used to report facts back in the day, not speculate as to what the facts MIGHT be). Gannon said "look at the teamsheet". Crags has been playing pretty regularly so I don't think it is levelled at him - more like players like McGarry, possibly Jennings. Now due to the Beeb speculating (ie stirring a pot with a rather large stick) Gannon's relationship with guys like Lasley and Crags is being questioned. I expected better of the Beeb - this rubbish is usually the mark of The Sun or Record.
