I think the last time Hammell did anything creative migt have been the season he first broke through. That might be the last time he hit the byline too. Don't get me wrong, I am glad Hammell has stayed but, man, he is frustrating. Someone said somewhere earlier that it seemed like he is going through the motions and I'd have to agree with that - even from 5 years ago!! Hopefully Gannon is the man to get the best out of him.

The other part of this is that he is bringing fresh faces to the league along with fresh attitude - we're not getting the same old tired re-treads like Jim Hamilton etc that so many SPL managers (who are the same old tired re-treads themselves) bring.
