What leadership qualities? He's a decent hard-working pro (that I happen to like) but Tinny he ain't. I don't recall him being particularly vocal on the park, or nurturing/giving a bollocking to the youngsters next to him as necessary, firing the team up, or taking the game by the scruff of the neck or anything remotely like that. He's too 'nice'. Certainly, I think he's a good example to younger players in respect of sticking in, grafting, not doing anything too daft but I'd question your judgement as to his perceived leadership qualities.
