The two pretty much go hand-in-hand. Hopefully a big commanding centre-half will sort that out - someone that will boot arses on his own team too when need be. Shaun Teale, but younger.
It's only stunting the youth if there happens to be a youth that plays that position that is ready to step up to the next level and make a positive contribution. I am not sure that is the case although you would know better than me for sure.
Never understood the press's obsession with hyping Andy Webster. Guy was just a jersey puller - we've seen MANY better centre halves than him at Fir Park.
Mibbes waiting to get the Euro game out the way first? I'm thinking he's made that his focus this week rather than chasing signatures. I'm thinking once the Llanelli game is out the way we'll see more movement.
That was my first thought Bop - but then I figured if ye keep Slane as a subbie it's always an option to have if things are going pearshaped. Of the two, who is the stronger? You all said that Welsh midfield was beefy big boys.
Think we signed him too late to be the wild card in this round though. Pretty sure it was mentioned in one of the other threads - which is why the Evening Times was reporting a hitch and wouldn't sign, wrongly.
