Not really much return over 4 years is it? (Through no fault of his own of course). I would imagine that probably played into Motherwell's decision when it came to his contract.

I think he is on the same wages. They were due to earn more but with the compo that the Dandies had to give us both he and Leitch had to reduce their wage demands to what they were on with us. I think that is where the 'reduction' thing is causing confusion.

McLean doesn't have THAT much more experience than the youngsters to be fair. How many appearances diod he actually make for us? Must be around 50 at best, maybe?

Absolutely - we've seen it often enough ourselves. Hopefully the production line you had set up under Gannon will churn a few out for a few years yet for you. Hope whoever your new gaffer is works wonders with it too.
