I agree with all of this. Feels like the Robinson and Craigan appointments had a wee hint of foresight about them.
If he loses tonight he ought to be shown the door just as McCall should have been after Albion.
Folk simply didn't want him in the job in the first place as the majority wanted Van Der Gaga. He's been up against that from day one. Despite that, it's up to him to get results from HIS team and there's no denying this is a disappointing start to the season, amplified by the marvelous playoff win
Not sure I'd have Thomas on from the start to be honest. Maybe best being given 30 mins every week rather than heaping pressure on him to deliver from the off?
Seems like this would be the sort of area where a respected, experienced player - say, a captain, for instance - should sit the boy down and tell him a few home truths. Sadly, we don't have that sort of leadership at the club.
Baffling signing unless some sort of mutual consent bumping of Twardzik is about to happen.
Clarkson has also been a baffling signing. MacDonald I wouldn't have signed either. Those aside, and maybe Taylor (surely he'll come good? Surely?!) I'm fine with his signings. I actually think we'd be a better team without the experienced core of McManus, Hammell, Lasley and Skippy.
McManus has been a hugely disappointing signing. Was expecting a commanding, dominant centre half and a real leader but it seems he is none of those things. I'd bump him out the team
I suppose in a way it is quite telling that fans are moaning about the performances even when we get results - last season you were moaning about the performances AND results.
