How have they? Do you log in when you pay at the gate? How can they possibly know the identity of those who pay at the gate? How could they have done this better? I went to Bucharest, have given my details for all the home European matches over the last 3 years and bought plenty of semi-final tickets so I should be on the database yet haven't heard a cheep. We're all frustrated but I don't see the point of getting ripped into the club for it. I'm glad I didn't have the job of allocating these tickets or I'd have gone on a fucking killing spree by now.
-
Agree with this. There was never going to be a 'best' way to do this, just a 'least shite' way. A general sale would have been a disaster. FWIW, I've still not heard from the ticket office. I managed to get a couple of tickets from a mate but still waiting to be contacted as is another mate.
-
The club have done this the right way IMO. It's easy enough for Celtic, their season ticket holders will easily outnumber their ticket allocation so a ST ballot is all they need. We are in a different position and the club have a difficult job trying to prioritise ticket sales and make sure that sales to non-ST holders go to genuine fans as tickets will be like gold dust for Shellic fans.
-
Just got an email from the club. Folk are being given until 4.30 tomorrow to buy new ST's and get their CF allocation.
-
Me too. Not sure if it's best to refuse them or take them and offer them on here. Could potentially end up with tickets you can't shift.

Deadline for debentures was last Friday but there's still an outside chance. The lassie was under the impression that they are segregated though as she asked the burd if she wanted Celtic or Motherwell. Fingers crossed an that. £55 a pop though, ouch!
-
Might be able to get debenture seats through the burd's work. How do the debentures work? Are they segregated or am I going to be sitting with mhankies?
-
Tension's too much. Canny stick it 'til Monday.

There can't be more than 3000 season ticket holders surely. Can't see more than a couple of hundred shelling out for new season tickets either so there should be 3-4000 tickets left for the ballot which should really cover everybody on the database that isn't a ST holder.

I'm pretty sure that for the CIS semi about a thousand tickets were sold in the last few days, including sales on the day. There's always a last minute boost as people who were swithering decide to go after all. I'm currently questioning my sanity after forking out £44 for me and littlemissshinyhead to get to the south side for 12.30 and stand in a half-derelict stadium for a game I can watch on TV for fuck all. Yeah I wouldn't miss it but I still feel somewhat shafted.

Shouldn't forget that Erchie was involved too. Would be quite funny if Knox and Broon both got a ban. To run concurrently of course...
-
This is unlikely to be a straightforward issue. On one hand, if Broon and Knox were promised the bonus for getting us into the semis then as soon as we won the quarter final, they were due the money as they were still in charge and had met the conditions for earning the bonus so it's hard to see how the club could wriggle out of paying them. On the other hand, Broon and Knox can hardly claim they were contracted to anything as they left with 5 minutes notice claiming they were under no contract and on this basis the club received no compensation for losing them. It's easy to see why JB might accuse Broon of hypocrisy but at the same time it looks like Broon and Knox may well have a valid claim to this cash.

Don't understand why they couldn't share a pie. They must be used to sharing things in Dundee. Like needles for example...

Getting called 'a shower of fucking animals' by the ever polite Scotrail staff and papped off the 'cup special' train about 500 yds outside Motherwell after somebody pulled the emergency cord. We had to walk back along the railway lines and it was then like the Wacky Races trying to get to Hampden by any available means while listening to the first 20 mins of the game on the radio. (Wis that too many sentences?)

Pretty sure it's wee fannies.

Aye would probably be better if there was no option to reply. Anyway, I'm away to email him asking if cutting about with a mad 80's mullet presents any social barriers when he's trying to nip a burd.
-
We should all email him back with tactical tips and that. I'm sure he'd appreciate the input...
-
I think he meant exorcising but still a GIRFUY Broon either way. Oh dear, own up, who's emailed him back and called him a useless c*nt?
-
Am I the only one who thinks it's time to let this go now? We beat them. Don't really think there's anything else to say. All this nonsense about banners and shit is just disrespectful to Stuart McCall.

Fuckin' get in!!!

Any chance of filming the dinner? I'd love to see Tam's face when the auction winner unbuttons his shirt to reveal an Alan Partridge style tattoo of TC's fizzer covering his entire chest. Just as the 'waitress' brings the McFlurries to the table...

2 of those wins were against lower league teams and the other was against Dundee Like most, I'm wholly underwhelmed about Francis Jeffers but for fuck sake, he was the best we could do and is surely better than no signing at all given the depth of choice up front.

An absolute cock of a man. A 'mate of a mate' played under him at Stockport and he was apparently just a nasty bully who wasn't slow to dish out a serious amount of anti-Irish hatred at the guy (somewhat ironically). Is that sort of thing OK in football these days then? Nah, if you had a boss like him at work, he'd get the bums rush and rightly so.
-
While it's clear that we won't sell our entire quota, I would imagine that there'll be a late flurry of activity at the weekend. Anybody got any idea how many tickets the currant buns have sold? If the apathy for the game stretches over both sets of supporters then it's hardly a reflection on our club.
