In terms of scariest days, a few at Easter road spring to mind. Remember going up early in the season round about 85 or 86 in the league cup. We scored early and eventually lost 6-1. Trouble before during and after the game. 88 was the same in the Scottish cup. Fuck I used to hate Easter road!

I travel down to watch Coventry in league one a few times a year. Motherwell would easily beat any team in that league plus 90% if the English championship, yet the English can sell these 2 divisions to the world.

Adding to Steve diggles post regarding hammell, I actually think a lot of players got of the hook because of Nielsen's bloopers on Saturday. McFadden, Angol, were both very poor, so too was Ainsworth bar a couple of runs in second half. Lawson was also at fault for first goal and had he dealt with it maybe we wouldn't be on here debating. All in all we weren't great on Saturday and still got a point. Time to move on I think because Nielsen will be in goals for the thistle game whether one like it or not.

Comparing the Nielsen situation to vigurs is laughable. Vigurs was outstanding for his previous club, so it was a matter of time before he clicked. Nielsen hasn't done anything of note at any club to suggest he will suddenly become good. What I want to know is why isn't our young under 20 Keeper even being considered. If Mccall brought in another keeper when Hollis and Nielsen were injured, it suggests he either doesn't think he is up to scratch or isn't quite ready. Why has he been on the bench so much then?

I actually think teams have shown Aberdeen too much respect this season. They had a good half hour in first game at fir park and we're very lucky to.win the cup tie. If we set out the way we done in the last 2 home games we should win. A draw wouldn't be the worst result with with our game in hand.

Ramsden definately my choice as player of year so far.
