Michael Wimmer is a German football coach and former player. Born on June 18, 1980, in Dingolfing, West Germany, he played as a midfielder during his career. After transitioning to coaching, he has held various roles, including assistant and head coach positions at clubs like 1. FC Nürnberg, FC Augsburg, VfB Stuttgart, and Austria Wien1. Recently, he was appointed as the new manager of Motherwell Football Club Coaching Experience: Held various roles at clubs like 1. FC Nürnberg, FC Augsburg, VfB Stuttgart, and Austria Wien. Recently appointed as the manager of Motherwell Football Club. Comparative Analysis: Experience: Similar to many seasoned managers in the league. Success Rate: Competitive, with notable performances during his interim stints. Tactical Approach: Prefers a 3-4-1-2 formation. Development Focus: Strong background in youth development. Formation: Favors a 3-4-1-2 setup with three central defenders, four midfielders (including wing-backs), one attacking midfielder, and two forwards. This formation provides a solid defensive base and attacking flexibility. (from CoPilot) Looks like no change in formation folks. Hopefully he can add something different to this, Oh and Welcome to the Club

The story for Wimmer says that a work application from Bristol Rovers was rejected at the end of last uear b the FA. Do we have different criteria?

Jack McMillan involved for Exter tonight against Forest, with Jack Aitchison on the bench. Been a good game, Exeter down to 10 men going into extra-time. So still time for AItchison to come on as Forest needed to use a concussion sub on 90 minutes. They had just announced 10 minutes injury time, the game was held up for 10 minutes before that was played.

Time for him to go. He's on about injuries but even with 3 defenders out we still put out a back 5 that have had enough game time this season. Its not as if he needed to use youngsters to fill the void. The formation was still the same as most of his games in charge and this sitting back and allow teams to have possession is killing us. I can understand it if it's against the Glasgow pair but the rest of the teams in the league we shouldn't be allowing it. So, none of the above was affected by the 9 players being out, we'd have still played the same way I see he is after another striker (despite needing a replacement for McGinn or some steel in the midfield.) The issue doesn't lie with the strikers not getting gaols, it lies with them not getting the service to at least get attempts in to start with. Its always the same excuses after the game but nothing changes. So, yea time to go. The question is who replaces him, on that I am still not sure but one thing I do know is, whoever it is, we don't offer them a new contract after 6 months just because they won a couple of games.

Next door neighbour is a Utd fan, Moult is fit but they have brought in a couple of new strikers and Moult is now seen as a bench player to bring on without disturbing the team too much and keep quality on the park. He did wonder if we'd see him back at Fir Park for regular football but he's delighted he's stayed.

Makes you wonder why he didn't get more game time when Kelly was off the boil

There were a couple of late additions, Iona Boyle and Jim Wright

If Clyde win against Montrose, they will be on the same points (if we draw and lose the penalties) and potentially better GD, does head to head count, or do we realistically need the draw and bonus point as a minimum? -
Don't win next week and there's no guarantee we' finish one of the 3 best 2nd place. We may have a better idea midweek, but for my money we need to win. With Thistle got a game in hand a better goal difference after their massive 6-0 win today, its gonna be tough next week.

Email in and after much deliberation and back and fro (not really), I decided to accept to reject the offer.

After reading that through twice, it is well put together and the combination of the Podcast with Jay at least lets us see there is a plan in place from the Society and I look forward to see how much of it comes to fruition for them. Seems to be a lot of work done around the whole proposal and good to see it doesn't just focus on the club but the community, Womens team, the towns and villages around Motherwell. I hope that includes the likes of Cumbernauld. Its only 20 minutes drive away, so well within travelling distance by car and easily accessible now by train.

Looks like they have at least listened to views. The WS still has to write off half the loan from the club but guaranteed ownership at the end of the 6years for that, some will agree that is a reasonable deal, others will still be against it. £30K less for the buyout, is just a little sugar on top of that... or not enough depending which side you are on. Revising this, they have given what most folk wanted, to retain fan ownership. Now its just down to what the Society Members decide, after an updated statement from the WS Board.

Rock and hard place, can you imagine if the voting went the same way as the Exec Board or even just the reverse result, so was accepted and then us the paying punters found out. They may have decided to just give us the best of the deals to vote on, hence rejecting the rest. Easier with a Yes or No, than voting for 6 choices and one with only 30% agreeing to it, being passed.

They are Domino Nduja and Domino Marinara, will be announced tomorrow in a 2 for 1 deal

I also had today in mind.

The thing here is David, its a grey area, if it was done on these boards we'd probably be looking at removing them. They may be posted from someone taking part in the chat BUT and is a big but, that is a private conversation and there is nothing to say that the other party agreed to it and if any of the text was changed before posting, especially as some parts have been highlighted. So there could be legal ramifications for the poster at least if not the forum owner.

I am aware that we have made profit since the WS have taken over but a lot of that was down to the sale of DT. We need similar to happen more frequently so we can have the money to invest where and when we want it. I am not for one minute saying that EB's money will make that difference. However if we can get him on board with the WS retaining 51% and a reduction of the money the WS have to put in or to buy the club back, then that would be a start. I support the WS and it's aims, I believe the club should be fan owned. However, before this investment talk came about we had heard nothing from the WS on how they were going to increase funds that it holds or needs to help the club grow. So yes, I can see why people say being fan owned isn't working but if we can get a deal that is right and someone with fresh ideas and replace the current Exec Board, I'd be happy to consider it.

I have stayed quiet since the details were sent out from the Well Society. My first thoughts on the email started with the first line with them advising us to reject the offer, that isn't for them to decide what I do. I also read the statement from the Club. From there my thoughts turned to why do we have two vastly different opinions here and which one gains/loses the most. You could read the email from the WS and feel like it's throwing the toys out of the pram because it loses control of the club but didn't they have a vote that resulted with the members saying they'd consider losing the majority if the deal was right? That is up to us members to have our individual thoughts on it, find out any information we need and decide. Then you see that Dickie and Maureen Downie resign from the board for differences, so why hasn't the 3rd person that voted against not resigned? Why has Dickie not confirmed his resignation from the Exec Board? So we have in fighting on the WS, contempt apparently between the Exec Board towards the WS, so how can we possibly decide which statement is best for the club. I have been on P&B and read all the posts from EB and those that try to have a conversation with useful information (trying to ignore the likes of Busta, being Busta that we all know and love ) I have been encouraged by the fact that EB has taken on points from those conversations and is looking at not binning the offer but readjusting it slightly, whether that is enough to persuade folk it's the right or not will be up to them. We also have still to see what the WS has proposed to raise extra funds. When the football game came out, my thoughts were that they should have auctioned the places off rather than a set price, maybe this was done to make sure they covered their costs and made some money but in a time of cost of living crisis, the auction may have allowed other folk a chance. However, I was glad to see that those that did take part had fun. From the start pf the week where I was probably a definite no, I may be sliding nearer to a maybe if EB can get the adjustments right. Or the WS show they have something to encourage they can finance the club better in the future. However, if the WS do stay in control, the Exec Board need to acknowledge that and work properly with them not only as a failsafe but as a genuine part of running the club, so that may need the likes of Jay (only using that name as I don't the others, although I assume Amber has some of her Dad in her views to MFC) being on the board and making sure it's running to look after the club, finances and fans correctly. Probably one of my longer posts in a while, but if you haven't already, I'd suggest going on P&B and looking at the discussions between EB and Vietnam91 particularly amongst others.

Not binned, it's the WS view it should be. They will put it out to vote probably around 1st July In a nutshell the investment is just shy of 2million over 6 years for 49% of the shares The first 300k would allow them, from day 1, the Chairmanship and 3 seats on the executive board with final say in any tied vote During the same period the WS would not only lose control but they would also need to invest around 1,5M. There is an option to buy back in 2026 for 660k but by that point the WS would have put in 400k. If the WS can't do it the Club gets 2nd call. For that to happen 30% of any transfer fee over 2M has to be held back to cover it
