  1. Yea, I'd have thought if anyone was coming in today, we'd have heard something by now, especially with the game tonight. Pearo, is a freebie so he doesn't have to be signed today. The worry could be someone on the way out. Anyone know if any player hasn't travelled to Dingwall?
  2. Skippy tempted by Western Sydney Warriors ...
  3. Now that was quick.... I didn't expect to see that question just yet. I have a feeling that although the fans feel the nail loosening the Board may not. Especially as we'd have to pay him off.
  4. Last week we needed to bring Skippy on to provide an out ball to at least try and take the game to them.... so when Skippy is sent off why does he bring on McMillan for Chalmers instead of Ainsworth or Frear at least we could try and pump the ball long for them. Comments from FGR is that Frear has pace so let us see it. I knew that Miller would score today... he always seems to manage it against us.. so by now we should have a way of marking him better. Last week was bad..... this has just deflated me today. I expected the players to stand up after last week and as soon as we lose McDonald, not one player has the bottle to take over and make sure we take the game to them. All we appear to have at present are a set of players who don't appear to have one ball between them when it comes to big games.. I now am starting to fear for the rest of the season, because of the position we're in at present we need to treat every game as a big game so we have a chance of pulling away from a relegation battle. I think ICT will turn it around and it will be down to Killie, Hamilton and ourselves at present for the bottom two positions. I have just seen that McGhee says we aren't that far away and we weren't that bad..... methinks he forgot to watch after Skippy was sent off. I ain't normally this negative about us but by God it's the way I am starting to feel.. I'll be looking for space in a white cell shortly ..
  5. Looking at the Cheltenham Forums some of their fans appear to think he was sent back to Everton, rather than recalled. A lot of posts seem to be having a go at the lad, one comment stated started of good but then appeared to have a crisis of confidence. There are also comments about him coming for the ball but flapping at it when he got there. The kindest post I have found so far: Thank you Russell Griffiths Im sure you will go onto bigger and better things than CTFC I suspect your confidence has taken a bit of a bashing but you are young and learning the game Jack Butland would have struggled behind our defence but thank you I hope we get someone who commands their area Hope that this move restores his confidence
  6. From the Motherwell FC Facebook page.
  7. Motherwell FC ‏@MotherwellFC 24s25 seconds agoMore | Motherwell FC can today confirm the signing of Russell Griffiths on loan from @everton for the remainder of the season There's our keeper, so Brill away?
  8. I'd be very surprised if he'd leave Dunfermline where he is playing regularly to come and sit on our bench.
  9. Somebody on the booze already.... however I like the optimism.
  10. Maybe a player swap with McManus going the other way... or is that just wishful thinking ahead of Saturday's game.....
  11. Maybe for the same reason as we have apparently blocked a move for Skippy. It has to been beneficial for both parties. From the BBC Gossip Motherwell have blocked a move by Western Sydney to take striker Scott McDonald back to his native Australia. (Daily Record)
  12. Not if you do what Stenhousemuir did for a visit from Dunfermline last season. They offered discount to season ticket holders at East End a discount for their home game. Dunfermline I believe returned the offer. Season Ticket holders that then grumble are the ones that aren't taking advantage of a cheaper away day.
  13. Warburton saying O'Halloran a no go for 'Well. http://www.motherwelltimes.co.uk/sport/football/motherwell-fc/warbs-well-won-t-get-o-halloran-1-4347224

  15. Congratulations on your appointment Jason
  16. May explain why Strachan keeps ignoring him.
  17. Take it Cadden will be asked to play behindMoulty, otherwise God knows McGhee's thinking..
  18. Barnsley & Oxford are being linked with a move for Rangers forward Michael O'Halloran. #BarnsleyFC #Tykes #oufc Think that may end up at either of these two or a.n. other down South.
  19. As long as it's not before next weekend. If he goes before then and O'Halloran was to come in, I'd imagine that his parent club won't allow us to play him in either of the next 2 games.
  20. lol, my bad.... forgot about the hyphen then tried to make 2 of him, no wonder Utd thought he was good.
  21. There statement doesn't say anything about Barraclough, presume he stays then.
  22. My bad... Was keeping up to date with my sisters team (Dunfermline) on the bbc page, seen the comment about Forbes and took it was the Dunfy's game not Morton... As I said earlier, going crazy with no Well game on...
  23. 2nd for Robinson, from the bcc below. If only he'd shown it with us.... A second for Theo Robinson, who looks a cut above!
  24. Tell you what, this is crap sitting around on a Saturday afternoon, looking out for former 'Well players playing........ Scrap the winter break!!!!
