  1. This posted on Twitter earlier. If true, we could have a bidding war...
  2. This will be for the U20's, as they are now included in the Challenge Cup as part of the shake up. So I suppose it depends where they are playing their games this season.
  3. Good news and well done on the club and Skippy. He could've tried to force a move but appears happy to stay...... although to play devils advocate, there was no firm offer at the time Flow and McGhee spoke to him.
  4. See my post above yours
  5. Daily Record now reporting the deal is with Western Sydney Wanderers...
  6. Just been looking through the Sydney FC Forums and apparently because of a tweet it ain't happening. This'll be the tweet from the Chief Executive of Sydney FC (Guess we'll just have to wait and see if there's any truth)
  7. Seen a report this morning that Scott Allan is going nowhere.
  8. Could you not have posted that earlier..... we could've saved some pages on this thread
  9. Good news on Skippy. It'll be interesting to see who the midfielders are he is working on.
  10. I just saw Freddy at Costa in Erskine.........
  11. Bad news is I have seen 3 articles on this and not one mentions any fee of any sort being paid. Albeit they are the same rehashed. http://www.burnleyfootballclub.com/news/article/2016-17/clarets-secure-leitch-signing-3162482.aspx http://www.90min.com/posts/3398616-burnley-sign-former-motherwell-youngester-robbie-leitch-on-a-free-transfer http://www.burnleyexpress.net/sport/burnley-fc/latest-news/clarets-sign-former-motherwell-striker-leitch-1-7990193
  12. We all know how hard Callum Elliott found the travelling from Edinburgh to Fir Park ... keep clutching
  13. Suppose that says loads about Law....... Not even mentioned to compete with Tait...
  14. https://www.youtube.com/user/OfficialMotherwellFC/videos for their interviews
  15. After their Euro performance not Ibrahovic anyway
  16. From the BBC Gossip page today (a name mentioned already in this thread) Motherwell are lining up a move for Chester defender Ben Heneghan, who was the subject of a January bid from Fir Park. (Daily Express)
  17. To show off the strip they need to have some players available to do that. THe fact it wasn't done before the season ends, may just mean that the club has to wait for the player(s) returning to preseason or maybe they want to show the new signings off in it......... If the latter we could be waiting a while........
  18. I would love it if this fixture list backfires and the top 6 is: Aberdeen, Celtic, Hamilton Motherwell Partick Rangers We would be due to play 4 of the other 5 at home.... Haven't looked at Hamilton or Partick's fixture to see what they'd be expecting, but they'd also be looking at getting a visit from the gruesome twosome. I know it's unlikely but who would have said Wales and Northern Ireland would've made the knockout stages of the Euros? or Leicester win the EPL?
  19. I think in this instance after Thistle made their statement the club were caught in we're damned if we do or damned if we don't scenario about making a statement. There would have been a fair few on here stating that the Board weren't looking after the club etc for letting this go by with nothing said. I would love to see an Accies supportes view on it but can't find an active forum for them...... Either way, we have been short changed with the way the fixtures have been divvied up with the Old Firm as for the travelling aspect, we do seem to get a lot of midweek visits up North and during the festive periods. This also works the other way as well. Recently we have had Aberdeen at us on the 2nd January, so it's not all one way traffic but comments were made when that fixture was announced as well, due to limited or no public transport. Lets get an 18 team league up and running, everyone plays each other twice (no need for fancy splits then) and try to regionalise things a little better for festive period. After all it wasn't that long ago the New Years Day fixture was considered a Derby day.
  20. Ben Heneghan, is probably unlikely as there has been a number of clubs keeping an eye on him since March. Depeneding which story you read it could be Hull, Brighton & Blackburn of Tranmere and Barrow.. Found this link with a whole range of possibilities and we aren't mentioned. http://www.chesterchronicle.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/chester-fc-could-ben-heneghan-11491996 As for Mickey Demetriou, looks like he got a knee injury in March........ http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36046638 This from an article looking at a replacement for Jamie McAllister at Exeter City
  21. So what happens after the split if Celtic, Sevco and ourselves in the same half? Do they come to visit twice? Probably not but imagine that would be costly to the club in terms of stewarding, policing etc. Especially if the league is still there to be won..... Would ahte tot hink that one of them won the league because they didn't visit Fir Park twice and the other lost there to lose the league.... Regardless of Sevco taking Utd's place in the fixtures, the balance of fixtures against those two should've been taken into account.
