  1. That is a fine biscuit right enough.
  2. No, it's pish, we'll be rattling about like wasps in a jar. We should have two big blocks.
  3. How early are you talking? I'm on the one at back of 6 out of Montrose! (Cheapest basically - back up on the twenty to 7)
  4. BBC Alba is genius for the odd game.
  5. Early doors train from Angus. Wee carry out on the go. Laughing at Saintees as they get on.
  6. Those prices stink. I'll be going, because I've not been making many games and it is a big occasion, but the prices don't reflect circumstance.
  7. I'd prefer bevvying up the Gorgie Road first. Maybe a pint or two in the Diggers.
  8. I'd prefer the modern badge, but with some silver detail - perhaps the ball and, maybe, the Fir trees. Actually, probably just the ball. If you look at the '91 tops versus the recently issued replicas, I'm sure the original ball was white. So maybe a bit of silver detail there would look nice.
  9. Aye. Chick Young's head is the Death Star and we should get it with X-Wings.
  10. Nice. Need to see a badge design too. Shorts would be white with piped trim in same C&A configuration round the bottom. Amber socks maybe instead of blue.
  11. WTF is blue blue? Ye cannae just say a colour twice to make it more legit Matt. And you can forget naming swatches on the Dulux chart with that kind of patter too.
  12. I think it'd look better in petrol blue.
  13. If the club originally played in petrol blue, couldn't we have at least a change strop in that, claret amber hoop (right round), normal badge with some nicely worked in silver and possibly some silver italic threaded text? White shorts, claret amber trim. Petrol blue socks. Coloured boots banned all season. Black ones only. (Scratch that, back to the original hobnail efforts and get right into them at Swiney and Mutton-On-Sea) I kind of have a mental picture of what I mean, but no artistic skills.
  14. Ho ho ho, I certainly enjoyed having a wee chat with the lad who tried to sit in my row.
  15. Near the station - The Club Bar and The Trades are both good, Club Bar maybe for the old boys. Up the Perth Road a wee bit, the Phoenix is good. Food wise, depends what you want to eat. All the usual chips/burgers available, but the Bank Bar is alright for a sitdown pint and food effort, or the Lloyds or Wetherspoons, if you like that kind of thing.
  16. Not making it down today, armchair fandom awaits, unless I take a wee stroll up the pub. Refreshments are on the go though. On the Sabbath too. I'll pay for it. MON THE WELL. HEIDS UP, BOOTS IN.
  17. I've just dropped one. What day is it?
  18. They should stop being so namby-pamby and get big boots on, a yellow ball and sliding tackles on the ice. Bunch of woofters.
  19. We should just become a totally plastic franchise wonderland like the Yanks. Business supremos should be free to uproot our clubs, rename them, shift them elsewhere. Oh wait. Airdrie..
  20. There are times I'm at a game and I love it, but there are plenty of occasions where it doesn't seem to make a lot of sense. Pricing needs sorted out. Seats should only be retained in family sections.
  21. Begin Standard Rant. It is overpriced and shite. Been to Hertha Berlin v. Borussia Dortmund, Slavia Prague v. Panathanaikos, Brøndby v. Espanyol and other games in Europe, all for less than paying in at a home game (and a lot less than the average away). Scottish football fans have been getting pulled along by the nose for years. I reckon TV money hasn't helped as it has only reinforced the dominant positions of already powerful clubs. End of standard rant, time for cup of tea.
