Wasn't it beat Breidablik to sign a player, then the goals moved to 'beat Aaelesund to sign a player'? Was that to get Casagolda I take it?
-
Aye but Michelle McMannus would: a- last longer than him in a game, b- prob be faster than him tae. Being able to ping a ball a couple of times a game is fine for rugby or gridiron, you need a bit more than that to play football - and I have yet to see Forbes offer much else. Sad times we don't have a winger in (how many pre-seasons is THAT we haven't had an actual left middy added to the squad - since Stuart Elliott?!!!) but not surprised seeing as we added two Strikers when we thought we would only get 1 and Reynolds is staying. Although, Fraser's wage has been freed up...........
-
We need NO-ONE!! Casagolda the goal machine lobbed the Hearts goalie when 1 on 1 yesterday in a bounce game and Blackman scored a 'carbon copy' of Jutkiewicz's 6-6 equaliser. It's all good.
-
Doubt it - the 'away' stand is all seated and holds over 1000. Don't envisage that many heading up midweek.
-
Aye, but doesn't 'Flow work 9-5. Window shuts at 6
-
Aye and it's a dangerous game. Once your out of the habit you really have to ask questions about £30 all in on transport, food etc.. on a trip to Fir PArk to watch us play Inverness in the SPL. £40+ if you have a couple of sprogs. I also know plenty that just don;t go - don't even contemplate going on a Saturday! It is the habit that just 'makes' you go every week, break the habit and you may not even 'miss' it. Strange but I am giddy at the prospect of heading up to Brechin on a Tuesday after work to see us play in the CIS and have NO will whatsoever to see us play in the SPL this season. I guess there is an actual goal in the CIS whereas we have achieved everything the SPL has to offer us (3rd, Europa Playoffs). In saying that I am going to be at McDiarmid (for scoop), FP for Aberdeen as I am in Motherwell anyway that day, and Tynecastle (for scoop) - and Brechin so we'll see what happens - perhaps i'll catch the bug again!!
-
I know. I was up there in May too at the Stirling Albion game when they won Div 2. 3 trips to Brechin in 5 months. Great wee ground though for watching the well score 5!!
-
Spot on - and welcome to the club mate In saying that, next 3 SPL games are decent - St Johnstone away for a bevvy, Aberdeen at home to get it up McGhee and Hearts away for a big bevvy. After that I don't know how excited I will be - we look way short in all areas of the pitch. Oh!! We have the CIS cup too in September
-
He is a total c**t of the highest order. A horrible man. Beleive it or not that was one of his 'better' games he usually has nothing, NOTHING good to say about Motherwell or the SPL in general about the SPL - does ma nut in he takes a wage from it! And Maloney crumpled by the way. Although we were pish so hey ho.
-
He's a walker, he's a walker...
-
Hold on. So you think that if Humphrey was able to cross a ball accurately 50% of the time AND be lightening quick AND 'skip by men for fun' AND be hard working AND be excellent off the ball he would be playing for Motherwell on £1200 a week?
-
That's where I'm at. I came away from last night thinking 'what's the point?' What's the point in going to Motherwell v St Mirren, or Inverness v Motherwell every week when the BEST we can do is get into Europe, get to last night, the BEST opportunity of progressing in terms of finance, crowd, players, stature, big games and STILL fuck it up? The SPL is chronic, 2 average sides with arsehole fans run the shop and the rest battle for scraps. Don't get me wrong I love going to the fitba' but for me there has to be some excitement - cups for example where there is a realistic goal or away games to decent places like Edinburgh as it is more than just turning up, sitting in a plastic seat and watching dire crap for £20 it is a day out on the train and in the pubs. I know i'll get slaughtered for this but I don't really give a fuck, it's my leisure time and my hard-earned and at 26 I am already pretty fed up. I guess our goal for years was get up the league, get into Europe - you know what that cheesey film 'The pursuit of happyness' has a point and perhaps in the last 3 years we have been starved of the pursuit by actually getting to Europe and realising it is all bollocks anyway. What now? That was our chance last night. I can't begin to imagine how excited I would be to be in the groups, I guess because it is different. But now. The SPL? £20 a week to watch a team finish 7th, 6th - that's fine for many and fine for some too who see the bigger picture and wish to kick on from it. But we have nowhere to kick on to! That was it, last night. I'm talking pish, better stop. I still love the 'Well. I hate them too though. I think we all do, all the time!!

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I doubt it. Relegation fodder don't go away from home and get all 3 points in the middle of a Euro tie.
-
Are you shaggin' HUMPHREY?
-
Great win. We can go into Thursday and then the Celtic game without worrying about being on 0 points. Good stuff and a clean cheet will add confidence. From what I've seen and heard of Blackman I would consider starting him on Thursday, esp if Sutts is struggling. He seems a proper threat.
-
Its BLACKMAN ya sheep shaggin bastard, not BATEman
-
Bit of handbags there
-
I meant 1-0 and 3 points Goal meant to be offside anaw
-
This sounds shite I'll take the 0-0 and a point on the board the now.
-
Naw the worst media for berrating the Scottish game is ESPN thanks to the spunk rag that is Craig Burley. 90 minutes of SPL with him co-commentating is boak-inducing - hasn't a good word to say about the SPL. If he doesn't like it he should fuck off and stop taking a wage from it. Dick And as it goes I am quite happy to recieve the exposure from Real Radio, we have had very little press during our Euro runs.
-
I thought it was apop?
-
Big fucking Djemba Djemba battered Murphy all game and rarely got pulled up. It seems refs take the view that big bastards are allowed to foul as they are 'big anyway'. It was the same with that big coo Bamba on Sunday. Gets on my tits.
-
Yip, us in a nutshell. That said I think Blackman's yer man for giving us a more incisive attacking threat. Reckon he should start next Thursday.
-
fuck all in the red I will take the 2-0 nil now can;t concede again
