  1. Harsh no? I agree the BBC Scotland seem to be giving any one from the Old Boys club of scottish fitbaw a lucrative and frankly pish easy gig but it doesn't make Dodds a c**t! Neither does him predicting a narrow win for a home team!

    John Ruddy

Your sig is awesome. Actually just sat and pished myself for 5 minutes!!
  3. Amazing stuff today. Jock Brown's Setanta commentary couldn't have had more superlatives for this Motherwell team and the way they played!! And he was spot on too!!! Forbes back to his best today, great skill and close control to keep the ball many times!! To think this is us without O' Brien and Slane who looked immense pre-season.
  4. Spot on weeyin. Anyway, even if he did say it, are people expecting to answer the question with..? ''Growing up in Paris it was always my dream to play with Motherwell. I want to play here for the next 12 years" If anyone ever says that I would hunt them for lack of ambition!!

    Co-op Draw

It's no big deal. It is common place in other sports so it always amazes me that football fans/players/pundits let it bother them. In Baseball for instance there are 3 or 4 game series every WEEK!! Then there is the 7 game series and playoffs etc.. A 2 game 'series' is nothing to worry about!!
  6. Ruddy!! Amazing result yesterday. Those are the type of results that pretty much secure our place in the SPL - in Spetember!! (remember the pundits saying we will go down?? ) Once our Strikers start scoring (if they do) we can achieve some silly results this season I reckon. Mildly concerned that there has only been 1 goal from a Striker in the SPL so far, but hey - if Forbes scores every week we won't need them too!!
  7. I honestly think if it was a fiver for 'Well games we still wouldn't sell the place out every week. Even if we did it would bring in less money than being a third/half full at four times that price. Motherwell FC have 4500 fans who willingly go to as manu games as they can. They need to concentrate on makink sure they continue to go to as any games as they can. This doesn't and can't mean radically slashing prices but perhaps sweetening the cost of the games by just enough to make active 'Well fans think, 'yea I can go this week.' Perhaps gate entry reduced to £15 and season tickets brought down by 30 or 40 quid. Fair play to the club for the cup game as this goes along with my idea - making sure the non-season ticket holders head along to the game. That is all we need to, and more importantly can do.
  8. I'd love to see the calculator you are using?? How have the club lost thousands?? Every Rangers fan that wanted to go, went. And the paid £25 for it too. There were even SPARE seats in their Main Stand allocation. All this and we keep our fans happy by not giving up a traditional home end. Finally, the crowd was exactly the same as when we gave them the Cooper!
  9. Because then we can't fleece the fuck out of 5000 orange bastards under the 'similar stand/view' clause. If we want to rob them of £25 in the south then it has to be £25 in the cooper stand. And btw, for what it is worth I am happy to have a few hundred 'overspill' in the main. It is traditional for anyone's main stand to be used by neuatrals/away fans anyway and not like it is a traditional 'home end'. There is less of a problem coming onto Fir Park street with a few hundred than 2000 of them meeting 3000 East Stand fans on Knowetop. Anyway, intae theese bawbags tommorow!!!
  10. Get it up both of yees. Me and my pals got some flares and shit together for a 'Well game a while back anawl.......
  11. There is a league table here that shows wins agaisnt the OF since the SPL started. we are 4th so not too shabby!!!! Would be interesting to see draws too though as we draw alot against them at home!!! Right up them and here's to joint third tommorow!!! (in more than one league table perhaps..)

    £10 And £5

So you NEVER want to see extra fans being urged along just so you and other season ticket holders can sit in an empty stand smug as fuck it would be costing walk up punters a fortune to get in?
  13. Van Zanten and Jonathon Johanssen released by Hibs. Wonder if any of those two will be worth considering?
  14. Flow you getting that tractor photie sorted! Or are you still waiting for someone....
  15. Ding dong, 5 O Clock. Cheers Jim
  16. Not the most exciting game. Would rather a cheeky away game. We should win though and there is a sneaky chance Rangers or Celtic could be on the end of an upset - at least they aren't practically given a by in the form of a home game to a first division team. Wonder if the prices will be lowered a bit. I am going to have to drag myself there to watch us play ICT for £18 at the end of the month.

    Signing #7

That's enough for me!! Seriously though, he was the U21 captain. A team presumably with Benzema etc.. in it!! He must have skills!!! Well in Jimbo!! Jim Gannon's 'Well Army!!!!!
  18. Monday night Sportscene is not bad. Being the BBC they have the tools to do decent analysis (if you are sad like me and like when they circle players and draw arrows in to show defensive mistakes etc... ) and Nevin for as much he is a bit of a prick talks a good game, as does Patterson who was on on Monday there. They also don't show Interviews which was the most boring part of the Setanta show and left no time for analysis (all they done was talk about press stories anyway) Yer BBC Sportscene show is all you need
  19. It should go against the grain. You are out of order. I have no time for McGhee now and would have loved to be involved singing things like 'McGhee, what's the score etc..' if we were winning. But why make it personal. Why say things that you wouldn't consider shouting accross the street at someone you have no time for? Honestly, some people need to chase themselves. Football is a game. People annoy you but it is just their job.
  20. It will be on BBC online mate. Don't know about the old wireless though.
  21. Found another quote from someone who might wish to retract it
  22. Just noticed this in Kmac's analysis of who to keep and who to punt. Wonder if he would change his opinion given his from and immense standing ovation on Saturday?

    Signing #6

Happy days. The only thing we need to realise that he is the kind of loan player we can't get attached to as we will NEVER be able to sign him long term. The only hope is if he is good is extending the loan, then again if he sets the SPL alight Everton might want him back - can't really win. Just hoping he does a turn and gets us up the table.
