  1. Fair doos if he is away. This 'rumour' is actually a bit TOO random for me to be made up. I am gutted, don't get me wrong AND we are ridiculously short of quality now for Llanelli but it was inevitable once he started banging them in, got into the Scotland set up and scored on his debut!! Would rather see him do these and step up than rot away like he did for a couple of 'poor' seasons. Like Faddy, though - he will be back
  2. That pack is the best £1 a month you could ever spend!!!!
  3. Fixed that for you For what it is worth if we get anything north of £500K for Clarky it will be a great piece of business for us. Don't forget that as much as we love him he can be a VERY frustrating player. You go into ANY game thinking he will get the goal we need OR he can look like he has never seen a fitba' before and score 9 goals in 3 seasons. If the money can be used to bring in a Porter type deal for a more consistent striker then I would rather that than lose him to ABerdeen for free next summer
  4. I dunno, perhaps tommorow when JB realises this shower have jumped the gun he won't bother. Tell you what, and I doubt I'm alone - I'm starting to lose interest with all this no/mibees/definately no getting a ticket shite. I'm actually not bothered my hoop. If they have switched this ground just to spite us because we failed to give them their 'glamour tie' at home first they can go fuck themselves.
  5. Seems so. Starting to not like this shower of sheep shagging part-timers!!!
  6. That mean we can't use the 'tractor seats' in the POD then?
  7. Had a wee swatch at their forum and it is a pretty mixed response to where they want it played, perhaps a slight majority wanting to cash in and move it to PYS. One guy said common sense should prevail and they move it as this is their biggest European draw ever!! Anyway have a swatch, some 'Well fans are already in amongst it. 'The Reds'
  8. Quality!! btw, is that Motherwell patter? I used to call it that down 'Gow way but everyone called it 'Jimmy' ! Also heard it being called 'Combi' in Motherwell and imaginately enough, 'heeders and volleys' from folk I know from West Lothian. Best way to spend 5 hours in the summer with an old Mitre Calcio and three mates!!
  9. I got someone to laugh at you, it was worth it.
  10. Exactly. If they spit the dummy and not move to the bigger ground just to spite us for not giving them home advantage first (which was the luck of the draw made by UEFA anyway) they can go fuck themselves. I hope we win 9-0 in Airdrie and keep the ball for 90 minutes in Wales and no' play!! There is one solution to this and they should have solved it by now. There is hardly enough time as it is to make plans without this mob being a bunch of fannies about it.
  11. Hopefully they can illustrate the benefits of over 2000 'Well fans paying £20 a pop to get into the game at the rugby stadium, as obvious as it seems!! Also, promise not to pump them and tell the mmmmMcgarry has been on holiday to Jimmy Chungs for two weeks and will be starting up front.
  12. Any walls we can peer over to see the geme with a carry oot??
  13. Was it because 'baldyfourincher' wasn't catchy enough...?
  14. Choosing a user name these days harks back to the days where you tried to be rude with three letter player names when you got into the top 10 on yer Sega!!!
  15. To be fair, I don't doubt there will be a wall or three you could just stand at and watch the geme with a carry oot. The ground is tiny - like our third division grounds which you could watch football from outside any day you like. If you go down, ticket or no ticket you will see the game whereever it is. The sensible option is for them to bite the bullett and move it tho.......
  16. Haha!! What a pointless post surely? Never start telling a story and then say you missed the punchline!!
  17. Aye but you can get to this 'European' game for fifty quid. Also it is in the school holidays so a cheap and cheeky wee holiday for many families (us included). It is also pre-season when folk are bored and this is some competitive football and a hell of an away day!! I think we could top 2000 easy, with perhaps a few hundred dropping off if we are 14-0 up after the first leg.
  18. You missed a full stop there mate. Setanta will be switched off tonight. I just went to my bank and cancelled the direct debit. They can't touch you - especially not after they turn their station off! Amazingly, if you DON'T cancel payments they will keep taking them untill APRIL as they are still going to 'trade' even after the switch off. Cheeky attempt to shrink some debt off the back of dozy punters. Just get those payments cancelled, don't phone, don't e-mail just get them to fuck!
  19. This mob are seriously spitting the dummy. If they turn down 2000 odd punters who would gladly pay £20 for the ticket they could make well over £40,000. Cover the cost of the Rugby ground hire and make a profit - JUST on away fans. Let the home fans in for a tenner - will we give a shit? If they turn us down because we 'refused' to switch the legs around (which was a stupid question that I doubt UEFA would allow) it only highlights their amateur status with a seriously amateur decision. Basically, not letting us all come down if we pump them in the first leg - that is what they are doing.
  20. That is pish. They will have to name the venue before the TIE kicks off. Do they want us to come out and say, it's allright we won't hammer you, just play at the big ground....

    Motherwellnet

Just spent ages trawling through this again. Work skive a BEAUTY!!! Actually looking forward to work tommorow The amount of info here is astonishing!!! Even your tangents to International Stats, world cups , KIRIN cups etc... Oh, and I like the ommition of the 1966 world cup details
  22. It's funny but looking at that Midfield - O'Brien is our only chance of anything creative!! He is our main man in there, how many would have said that after his first couple of gemes!! Same with Clarky up front - our main man up top when most would have loaned him to Stenhousemuir a couple of seasons ago (me included)!!
  23. UEFA requirements big chap. But I get your point You reckon as much as 2500?? Would be tremendous if thats the case (and we all get in!!)
  24. I don't think we need to worry for Away tickets EVEN if it is not moved to the Rugby ground, their average attendance last season was 336 Their largest attendance last season against 'rivals' Rhyl was 689 and their ALL TIME record gate is 1400!! Even if a Nancy-esque 2000 'Well fans want to go (which I doubt) and Llanelli TRIPLE their home crowd there will still be room!! Incidentally, how many 'Well fans do you reckon will head to the game?
  25. Goalkeeper? I think IF Beevers and Boyle are in I would STILL be looking at 5 signings plus 5 youth teamers to step up to make a 'squad' of 25. Again, if Quinn and Clarkson move on this summer we could be staring at NINE signings this summer!!!
