Fao Flow Or Anyone Who Saw Training Today
Juan Kerse replied to dougie arnotts barmy army's topic in Club Chat
Fuck me!! Surprised I'm not seeing A. Burrows in that list!! Big Melly in too!! It says it all that the squad numbers jump from 5 to 10. I hope this welsh mob are as pish as we think they are!! -
Can't. EU/UEFA some beaurocratic leg saying NO game can be screelned live at 3pm on a saturday except special circumstances (Cup finals etc..). Quite right too. Sat 5ish will be the Setanta slot that Sky will pick up to show Man U games from Old Trafford. We will be looking at Friday night, Sunday Night or 11 AM on Sunday morning (lots of Euro games play then - God won't be happy but all we have) We WILL be a schedule filler on SKy - apart from OF games and we will have to take what we get.

Good work! - A LOT of work!! I like the wee Fir Park tour!!
-
Welsh guy on P&B says they are moving it to the brand new Rugby Stadium (Llanelli is a rugby town ) which is brand new, all seated and holds 14000. When you compare it to the football team's stadium in the town it is criminal how much better it is Rugby Team: Football Team:

One of the reasons they are in the mire, setting up their news channel ate up LOTS of valuble capital and was clearly extremely short sighted in that they would NEVER come close to competing with Sky Sports News - which you get on freeview anyway.
-
Don;t you reckon Buzz has been at the wind up with this!! He pretty much knew he was going to be offski this summer so when they asked him to design the goalie top he though he would take the piss, prob never believing they would go for it!! Can just see him PISHING himself when he sees our new goalie running out in that next season!!
-
Was going to wait and see before cancelling my Setanta on Freeview but reckon I'll just cancel my direct debit just now, what are they gona do? They are the one cancelling football. Game over, UNLESS they see the SPL as the ONLY thing that may keep them alive, then again I doubt it.

Haha, quality! Go on, get it kept - turn aboot! Can just see you Jay, Millenium Ticket in hand, quaffing amaretto in the Directors lounge while mingin' wi' a hangover!! I once got sent out two books instead of one. One the day after the other. Came in handy for mates and stuff! . The Irony is I actually lost mine with a few months to go so it was handy to have a 'spare'!

A Wee Piece Of Nonsense Poll To Pass The Time
Juan Kerse replied to Haggischomper's topic in Club Chat
WOOFIOOO, every time!! -
That is true actually. We have had a lot of exposure recently and it would seem we are, in the eyes of outsiders, a 'bigger' club than we were a few years ago. I am shocked at the names mentioned to be honest. When you consider Hibs got John Hughes and Falkirk are getting Eddie May!! Both similar or bigger clubs than ourselves!

A Wee Piece Of Nonsense Poll To Pass The Time

Clarkson is a club legend at 23 McFadden was a club legend AND a better player than Clarky at 20 However, McCormack might be a better player than both of them..... ooooo, controversial!! Discuss.. -
That was done on purpose, as clubs requested that the 'groundhog day' (or groundhog quarter) effect was removed, playing team 'A' first game of quarter, team 'B' second etc.... It isn't 'inconsistencies'
-
Is it your time of the month? And did you REALLY have to write your second bit or are you just trying to sound like a billy big baws!! EDIT: Looks like Eddie has already nailed you on that one
-
Not bad, not bad. First game at McDiarmid though could be on Monday night if Setanta get their finger oot. Remember they had Accies first game on against Utd to give them their limelight for coming up. That would be a shitter as I predict a LOT of 'Well fans going up for that one 'Derby Day' is good and we have a good chance to get 6 points on the board from the first 2, which I can't remember doing for AGES!! Although back to back Old Firm - AGAIN ang AGAIN and AGAIN for us!!
-
...Aaaand, breath. Too long and messy. Did not read.
-
He ish a DUTCSHMAN!! And we luvsh the shmokey shmokey That is what.
-
Spot on with that. With Clarky the ONLY player who has REAL attachment to the club we would be daft not to be doing EVERYTHING we can to get him tied up for at least another two years. Like you say, if an offer comes in for him that is over a certain amount (£500K?) then we don;t stand in his way. Boyle!! - Do It!!!
-
Would be gutted. After three non-descript seasons where most of us would have been happy to see any transfer talk for Clarky he has been sensational in the last two seasons. He isn't JUST the top goalscorer outside the Old Firm he is just a gem of a player. He will run all day long and has real passion for the club. He has just completed his EIGTH season in which he has played for the Motherwell SENIOR team. He is 23 Remarkable. A legend. If he does go, and for a tidy sum I hope, he will be back in Claret and Amber in the future, no doubt about that. Season 2015 (Will cars fly ??) Motherwell's Strikers could be: D. Clarkson (29) J. McFadden (31) Where is the 'jixxing all over the East Stand' emoticon???

I have been voting for big Luc in the last 12 polls as I feel he will be different and fresh - just what we/SPL is after. HOWEVER, Laurie Sanchez, if seriously interested (and by the sounds of it for not much cash) should be offered the job tommorow morning. We will NEVER get such a high profile 'name' interested in our humble wee club ever again. If his 'modest' wages are still a bit high we could go for Stephen Craigan as his assistant/player as they have a good working relationship and it would save most of an assistant's wage. Just think about the contacts a guy who has worked in the Premiership and at International Level could have. Additionally it would get us TONS of media exposure (although not always a good thing - see McGhee however perhaps Sanches is already known enough he will stop short at the extremes McGhee went to whore himself about) Another option would be to get Luc in as AM. He wants the job desperately so he might come in with a view to taking over when Sanchez gets us into the Champions League and moves on!!!
-
Well by me then. You are right, Klimpl CLEARLY wanted to stay at Motherwell. He was free. A fans favourite. The ONLY thing standing in his way was McGhee, telling him to sit tight. Klimpl could have been signed by Motherwell on a pre-contract months ago. McGhee is a sneaky shovel-jawed whore.
-
Seriously, what is the point of the new poll? 95 people or more voted for Luc, including me and now we start again? Surely we should all be allowed another vote if we start again?
-
McGhee had Boyle wrapped around his little pinkie, (the one on his finger - oooh John, do behave..) if he wanted guys like Klimpl signed and sealed he would have got it.
-
Yea, the club is on better terms with the fans, MUCH more professional and there is a good vibe around the place. However McGhee's job as 'Football Manager' got us a good season, a safe season and left us in terrible shape as a football team - 14 first team players!! As 'Football Manager' his last contribution where he has been practically 'tapping' Motherwell players for his future club at the same time devestating our squad leaves a sour taste. McGhee signed one player on a long enough contract to be here when he left - John Sutton. Not good enough and it begs the question if signing guys short term when he kinda knew he was going to be away after 1 or 2 years was more sinister than it first seemed.
