The club (and most others) SERIOUSLY need to drop prices next year. Not by a quid or two either. If we drop PATG entry to £15 we will just about survive along the 3500 - 4000 home fans mark. However we need some drastic action here.. .. If we drop Season tickets to £150-£199 we could see a drastic rise in Season Ticket holders to safeguard our future. We CAN get 5,000-6,000 inside FP while the rest of the league is dying around us by just dropping prices. Even if the club do a 'Bradford' and offer £199 Season tickets if so many punters put down a £20 deposit - if we exceed that number by say, 500 it goes down to £179, down another 500 and it is £159 etc.. We NEED to take action. If the Season tickets come out this pre-season @ £280 - forget it!! £18 on the gate- no chance!! Say hello to sub 4000 crowds next year. £15 on the gate all stands and £25 for the Old Scum. m,ight as well make money off the bastards. Season tickets MAX £199 and get fans back inside FP. Before it is too late..;.

It is totally two points dropped. Aside from the fact we were 1-0 up at home, against anyone not getting the win is two points dropped!! We have blown the top six as far as I am concerned. Hibs only need to match us and given they have two winnable ties and we only realisticly have three points up for grabs (we will get pumped at Ibrox, as per the last 10 years). The worst of it is we will lose Hughes and Kilimpl too, they will only stay on if we get Europe. Poor show, a big chance to build on our success is almost fucked.
-
I have heard on the grapevine more than once that definately two of them will only stay if we get Europe. I would bank on it being a third too... Say goodbye to Hughes at least.

The St Mirren V Hibs game is huge for us. Huge. You can see Hibs perhaps drawing there although they should win. You could also see them easily getting at least a point at home to a dire Rangers side. Unfortunately we have Rangers at our worst away ground in the history of the world. Nothing other than at least a 2-0 win to Rangers is going to be the outcome there. So we need to beat St Mirren but by then Hibs may already have it secured by winning at SMP the Monday before. We blew it yesterday, the margins for error and success in this league are so tight that the two points dropped yesterday have us working out permutations and possibilities. If we stuck the ball in the pokey just one other time yesterday we we would practically have the top 6 secured under our own steam. Huge fuck up yesterday. Absolutely huge.

Season over imo. We now need to better hibs on points in the next two games and given we are away to rangers while they have them at home it is almost too much to ask for. Even IF we get into the top 6 aberdeen and Dundee Utd will surely be too far ahead of us to get fourth so nae chance of Europe either. That was a HUGE chance for us to capatilise on a dream result at tannadice and we utterly blew it!!

Fuck one game at a time for a laugh. We want to know now if we can sneak into the top 6 and thus have a bash at 4th and the summer holidays getting aff our tits in lithuania or some shit that will bring!! So a wee peak at what should happen and where it will leave us: Aberdeen: Well (a) (Lose) ICT (h) (Win) Celtic (a) (Lose) (3 Points) United: Celtic (h) (Lose) Hibs (h) (Draw) Accies (a) (Draw) Killie (h) (Win) (5 Points) Hibs: United (a) (Draw) St Mirren (a) (Win) Rangers (h) (Draw) ( 5 points) Motherwell: Aberdeen (h) Win Rangers (a) Lose St Mirren (h) Win (6 points) There are a couple of 'error on side of caution' such as United v Hibs - could be a home win easily and Aberdeen v ICT, you never know with El Tel's side and Hibs could easily get beat at home to Rangers but are also likely to get a draw too. But keeping it pretty conservative the table would be: 4th: United (48 Points) 5th: Aberdeen (47 Points) 6th: Motherwell (46 Points) ----------------------------- 7th: Hibs (45 Points)
-
What is 'our' way though? Hibs v Aberdeen - do we want Aberdeen to win then we are in top six at the moment? Or Hibs to win as then we can catch Aberdeen as we play them AND they have the toughest fixtures (Celtic away). I think we should concentrate on Aberdeen falling out of the top 6 rather than Hibs...

Said it before and I'll say it again but I have a sneaky feeling we will see VASTLY reduced prices/ST prices next season....

Can someone make me a banner in the style of my sig?? Delighted that the door is open for us to sign him. Jonesy is right, from a selfish point of view it is good he isn't in the Slovakia squad. Unfortunatley when he is outstanding for us in the Top 6 to get us into Europe he will be most certainly be on the radar (Q rangers signing him...)

It really is embarrassing now. On Saturday the pitch was at it's worst ever - I doubt you could point me in the direction of a worse park in the UK - ANY divison. Add to that that the East Stand roof was practically caving in and there were three dirty great big bins to collect the drips coming in isn't about time the board at least got the ball rolling in bulldozing the place and getting us a nice wee, brand new stadium somewhere...?
-
Aye an I have no doubt that Clarky would have put that away - I think he would have properly chipped the keeper ala his goal in the ill-fated game against Utd. However he took it DC would have stuck it in the pokie and he should start - 'fatigued' my erse he has a week 'till the Killie game, not as if he is doon the mine 'till then!! Get him starting.
-
Yea, and Untd were lucky if they had 400 at the game - so a decent crowd considering the cost/climate yada yada.. Still thinkin' we might see really low ST prices next year to turn these 4500 crowds into 6500 crowds every week.....
-
You better believe it! Ahead of Hughes I would say...
-
Delighted for the big chap - I love his work on the beeb, another who is doing all he can to spread the Motherwell gospel to the masses!! Deserves his day - and while Glentoran would be great for him - a sub 5,000 crowd wouldn't. A half decent team and a decent crowd would be more fitting imo.

Was ridiculously utted sitting in the house last night listening to the geme- neer this bothered when I'm at the geme!! Big blow to lose last minute goal, but to be honest it is D Utd we are aiming for and even if we drew they would have pulled two points clear of us anyway after beating falkirk. HUGE HUGE game week on Sat!!
-
Who is the guy at the bottom of your sig in the pic of the 'Well team celebrating Europe with the cardboard cut out face of Craigan!?
-
Will be over the moon with a point on Wed!!
-
Away to Hearts .Would take a point - not a disaster if we lose Home to United . HAVE to win Away to Killie. Got to fancy our chances - 3 points (on the telly, nae chance ) Home to Aberdeen. Again, we fucked up at these rounds before, home to Utd and Aberdeen - if it has wen't to plan above a point wouldn't be a disaster I make that 8 points from 12, not a huge task - we could get more too I suppose.
-
Ye cannae beat the big man, really hope we get him signed up!!
-
Magic, summer holiday time. Missed Nancy so all over the summer games if we get there!!!
-
You would hope so otherwise it is a pretty wide thing to do and not exactly a confidence booster subbing a sub... Anyway the game, just back myself (albeit with a stop off at Perth for a night on the swally ) and it was a great 3 points that were gifted to us but we are due a bit of luck as it is always us giving away goals. Europe here we come!!

What's the script with PSL? IS it a profit share (which would make sense for MFC) or do we just get a flat fee for the 'franchise' rights and get not a penny of every strip/football boot/mens earings sold? Always wonder if my cash is actually going to MFC or a Ltd company! Anyone know?
-
Totally. Our fans sing some chronic songs but some belters too, ahem - at least they are singing!! You don't have to join in - I aint exactly up joining in the 'wee boys' songs but I aint going to moan about it either. Alternitively - you don't have to listen either
-
Loving the point to get us top 6. Loving getting something out of the game that we deserved. Most of all though, loving the celtic fans/coaching staff/press self destruct after we got it up them on our dodgy park!! GIRFUY!!!

Seen at least three assaults in 30 seconds while walking out the East. Knuckledragging neanderthals having a pop at 'Well fans for the AUDACITY to celebrate a motherwell result - CLEARLY we have h*n agenda according to them Wankers
