    Attendance

That is, afterall, more that 10% of the population of the town! Still a good attendance, especially with all the factors you mentioned.
  2. Fair enough. Again, playing devil's advocatte here but how far would he need to go? Supposing, and this isn't out of the question, he let the Old Firm in for £5 at each end, charged 'Well fans £20 and put in Blue/Green seats to make them feel at home? What if he gave them the East/Cooper and South and moved us all into the main? Not out of the question is it? Would you still habd over the best part of £300 each summer?
  3. Will be watching this from the comfort of my couch while supping some Irn Bru, muching on a Bacon Sarnie and nursing a predictably outrageous hangover. I am actually looking forward to seeing the game on Telly, don't think I've done that before with the 'Well. It means I can switch it over when we are 3-0 down I really don't know about a prediction actually - of course we could win, we could also easily be horsed. That aint right.
  4. Morale throughout our support is at its utter lowest ebb. I certainly can NEVER recall such ill feeling towards the club from the fans. Sure, there have been bad times, horrible times and near catastrophic times but we have NEVER been treated with the contempt we are at present. Through pandering to the Old Firm, shocking communication, promised deals taken away without being tried out, shocking communication and finally, shocking communication the gap between support and the board has never been wider. Add to that an erratic and out of favor manager, some of the worst footballers on show in years and any that do have ability are lacking an equal proportion of effort and spirit. In all, there are many MANY fans who, quite unblievably could walk away right now and not come back. Ask yourself of the heartache the proposed closure of the club brought a few years back. Who would have similar feelings if such a 'travesty' occurred again? The feeling amongst many is absolutely SCUNNERED with the club and will walk away very soon, once out of the habbit, attending expensive third rate football is the last thing on people's agenda on rare leisure time. Many more have already walked, never to return. With that, who, at this moment in time will be showing support for the club at the start of the season by purchasing a Season Ticket. Will you be showing faith in the club, or will you be showing them the same appreciation the give us? How much 'Value' has the ST lost? Plenty in a fiscal sense but what about in terms of having a 'voice' and some status that being a ST holder used to bring? Anyway, that is the question. Just so you know, I actually don't know. I am playing Devil's Advocatte here so don't take the angle of the post as read, although some of it is my opinion. Anyway, have a vote.

Absolutlely swept under Peter! Unbelievable!! Boil is putting the Rangers 'Profit Cutting' pricing down to an experiment but is actually trying to get away with trying to forget these deals were ever offered! What harm in the Tenner deal for an Adult and a Wean at a game like last nights? He had 'Categories' all worked out on the official and then deletes them hoping noone noticed. Why? Tell you what, if the next Old Firm game is £15 for that lot of scum when he was charging 'Well and Killie fans who turned out on a Monday night to a TV game at Christmas time £22 I swear 100% I will never, ever, ever be back at Fir Park. We shall see
  6. The letter would make you sick anyway. Now, all of a sudden the Rangers game pricing was an 'experiment'. He doesn't go on to say it was an unsuccessful one Also no mention of the 'other experimental' schemes which have been pulled without even been given a go!! (The ultra-cheap £10 Adult/Child in the south to get crowds up AND the BOGOF kids entry/free ST holders pal scheme) What happened to these!? 'Experiment'? Don't think so BoilBag, you had them down as 'Categories' in the official site for Gods' sake!! Unbelievable stuff!!!
  7. Totally Rocky. I say hello to you at most games, think you boys do a great job and should keep it going - get more involved if you can! Wish I was 5 years younger but I'll just sit on the wings! The flags, colour and songs are better than hee haw and give FP and away followings that wee bit extra - keep it up and don't listen to the odd old fanny on here!

    Mark McGhee

Having read through the thread again I think I am somewhere in the middle of the two poles; McGhee OUT and it's opposite number, 'It's awright we will be fine.' We may well BE fine however after the most successful season in many a recent year WHY we didn't bring in quality better than Jim O'Brien I'll never know. Don't give us the 'Who then?' argument - that's not my Job - but look around the SPL - Aluko, Taohuil, Bauben, Flood all for absolutely nowt - if we had our eye on them they could ALL be in Claret and Amber. The signings HAVE NOT BEEN GOOD ENOUGH. With that, we have to give him time in January. If we bring in 3 loan signings then so be it - our actual squad will be paper thin but hopefully, if McGhee stays out of departure lounges this summer, we can sort it then. We have to forget ALL aspirations of the top 6. I'm sure that time has passed (remmber THIS is the run of games we are supposed to be chalking up serious points). However, we can easily still survive, be very safely safe and who knows - with said astute signings and a collective boot up the farter a Hampden appearance could still await us. (If we get past Loco that is )
  9. Home Debut tonight. What did we think? For me he seems a physical presence that we are after. A bit erratic that on a good day gould lead to him being a flamboyant cult hero but more than likely will lead to him being a bombscare. Anyone?
  10. Harsh mate. Doesn't bother me in the slightest. In fact a few flags and some noise is better than the morgue like atmosphere it would be without them. Gie them peace, they get a hard time from the yella jaikets as it is.
  11. That was unacceptable tonight and FULLY justified the Booooooooooooooo at fulltime. The team have absolutely no togetherness. No drive. No vision. Nothing at all. Hughes and Porter, our so called 'big money superstars' can leave whenever they like - if they can find a club that is. Hughes has done very, very little in a Motherwell shirt. One goal in a year and a half from and 'attacking midfielder' is ridiculous. I wouldn't mind but it's not as if he is setting up 15 chances a game either. As for O'Brien and Sutton, McGhee's other signings - both are shite - the former is one of the worst I have seen in a while. Add to that McGarry who was always out his depth, Hammell who hasn't kicked a ball since returning and Reynolds who looks like a one season wonder it hardly bodes well for us does it?? Scary times. R world a REAL possibility.
  12. Tell you what. Mark McGhee isn't exactly going to leave our squad in the best of shape if/when he eventually leaves in the summer. Not saying it is entirely his fault but with our squad made up of loan deals, expired contracts and third rate duffers like McGarry and O'Brien it hardly bodes well for next season and beyond, does it?
  13. A decent Right Back in and Quinn out would be ideal. A solid Centre Half and/or Klimpl kept would be ideal. A nippy/tricky winger/forward would be quality. Porter sold for at least £300K would be good business. Hughes signed up on a contract would be nice. That little lot would do me during the window
  14. Hi everyone! That one formerly known as Lasacak here (which was a daft alias really - so I've changed it ). Glad the site is back up, well done to all involved, especially gaag. Strange, that old chestnut about not knowing you would miss something untill it is gone - definately applies to something as daft as a message board on t'int! Tru tho, missed the banter and chat about the 'Well - although with nowhere to moan it seems as tho all is well at oor wee club when it has actually been quite a moan worthy time Anyway, good to be back, P&B sucks donkey dick!!
