Incidentally I think Motherwell have a real chance to stan. up to Celtic and moronic behaviour here and at the same time reclaim a bit of dignity after a horrid week. Ban away fans at the next Well v Celtic game. We would he more than entitled to and it would send a message. That part of the South Stand will never be repaired to the way it was. I would play Faddy not just to give him a game but hopefully a confidence boosting one if he bosses the game and gets a goal or two. That said if he still looks minging against a part time League 2 side at a neutral venue on a perfect surface he should chuck it! I would rest Sutton, Anier and Lasley. Maybe rest one of the centre halfs to give Cummins a game. I would still play Vigurs as he needs to boss a game soon too. I would go for: .................Nielsen................. Kerr Hutchy Cummins Angol ........Lawson...Carswell...... Ainsworth....................Vigurs ..............Faddy...Moore....... But doubt that will be anywhere near McCall's team.

Delighted at the draw but gutted as there is no chance I will see the game at Cliftonhill. After years of having a season ticket that was good for fuck all we now get a quality cup draw and I dont have one to get a cup ticket. Read on their forum that the capacity is even less, only 1000 for segregated games. There are musings of getting temporary stands up like East Fife done for the h**s, or something like the wendy houses at Accies/Falkirk. It would be worth it for them. Think we could easily sell 1500-2000 at £15 a pop for this. As opposed to around 500 for the status quo. When they balance up the rental payments for moving it might balance out and be the future for keeping it at home and cashing in.

Play Sutton up front and faddy in behind in a deeper 'number 10' role at Celtic. Why not. As folk have said we might as well unleash him as one thing is for sure he will want to prove he still has the minerals in a big game against a Champions League team. Just dont play him right mid. I said in the united thread that I really hope that we have seen the end of Faddy out wide and that we will just rotate 2 out of Faddy, Sutton and Anier up front for most games. I would give Faddy the nod the mora to hopefully get his confidence up. You would like to think that starting up front against a team bottom of the division below us Faddy could rip Livi a new arsehole. As for who he goes up front, either Anier on form from Sunday or Sutton on form overall. Either one would also benefit from being rested. For the rest of the team. I would play Neilson and think its a no brainer for McCall anyway. I wouldn't touch much more of the back 4. I would like Ainsworth to start right wing and find a way for Lawson to get a game, perhaps resting Lasley. 4-0 to the well. Faddy with at least two. Nice times.

Good point. Enjoyed watching that, started off brilliantly and looked really comfortable. Great play by ZFA and good touch turn and hit by anier. Shite start to the 2nd half - wtf was going on allowing that boy to run 70 yards in a straight line to goal??? Anyway ridiculous strike from Lionel to get the point. Brave to drop Faddy but looked tidy up front when he came on. I would bin the idea of Faddy right mid and just rotate 2 from 3 up front, Sutty, Anier and Faddy on form and fitness. All 3 will get a game every week just a matter of who starts.

Who knows but perhaps many people wouldn't get as mortal pre-match knowing its not your last drink for two hours...

Las at Rb? Or Carswell maybe? Carswell at least has the legs and has naturally drifted out to the right quite well in the past.

Especially as McCall will hopefully play Ainsworth righr wing, Vigurs or ZFA left and Faddy in behind either Anier or Sutton. We would then have Anier/Sutton off the bench or Faddy for that matter if both Anier and Sutton continue their run of form to come off the bench as well as Moore waiting in the wings = grim situation for McHugh.

Guy has some decent pedigree and is a natural winger. Prob up there with the best we could hope for at this stage in the window, IF the twitter rumours are true.

Apart from in recent years Stranraer away, Inverurie away, Forfar Away, Airdrie away - obviously. Another myth this 'we get shite draws'. We get the same amount of drinking days/easy ties as everyone else. Up there with the 'we are shite on telly' myth.
