This is a fucking scandal!! The bulk of the prize money was originally engineered to go to the Old Firm it might as well have said 'Old Firm 1 Prizemoney' and 'Old Firm 2 Prizemoney'. This was our chance to take advantage of the ridiculous increments on offer and try and at least arm a 'diddy' team with a few quid extra to ay least have a go at Celtic. Instead the gap gets bigger!! We need answers here and I for one am tempted to not step foot in ANY SPL ground untill we get one. Faddy, good run, going for 2nd, europe again who gives a fuck the while thing is utterly pointless.

To be fair we thought that when Porter left but Sutton stepped in and we thought that when he left and Higgy came in. Good record of replacing goalscorers, although not 20 by March right enough!

Fantastic! Commentators kept mentioning endeavour and while we certainly had that we we also just the better team, technically and devensively on the night. Nicky Law is a proper proper footballer. The valance he has can't be taught and he uses it so well. Faddy was different gravy. You could tell he has been on a different football world from the SPL for the last 10 years- touch, movement were just class. Yiu could mention Higgy and Humphrey for sticking them away and Randy for a couple of outstanding saves, Lasley for sticking in and Ojamma for his workrate and the entire defense too!! That's a team effort!! And against that mhanky mob too!!! :-)

McCall has said all week that he won't start faddy as he the boys in front of him have been winning. Well that's two shockers in a row from the team so get him starting againstt Celtic Stuart!!!

Actually it ia irrelevant as we are just wanting a more competitive situation at the too. i'm not saying Motherwell or Dundee Utd WILL win the league but it WILL close the gap (obviously) and at least keep it interesting at this stage of the season - is that not worth it? Don't worry either about who plays Celtic. Diddy clubs always up their game and are as likely to take something off celtic as we or Hearts etc.. are. There will also be the added venom/sense of occassion for thw ONLY visit of Celtic or Rangers for that matter for a year or perhaps almost two.

And replacing say 8 games with teams like Hearts, Hibs, Dun Utd, Killie - our Own LEVEL( all just taking points off each other and nullifying any challenge) with games against, say Partick Thistle, Livingston, Raith Rovers and Morton wouldn't give us more points and thus keep us closer to Celtic how exactly?

Fair enough,it is still a grossly unfair distribution if prize money and has no consistent increments designed to help the top 2 (and not just the winner - can't have Rangers getting more than Celtic or vice versa - what's the agenda!!) I know what you mean. Getting knocked out the cups has really floored me as we look on at St Mirren, Hearts and maybe a few other fellow diddy teams getting to Semis and Finals. I just can't be bothered paying to watch games in a league that is repetitive, boring and just about finished. I actually drove to Motherwell yesterday (from Stirling) got there but then couldnt bring myself to pay 20 quid to watch SPL football so didnt bother going in! That's how bad the league is!! Although if we do get 2nd does that mean we get the ridiculously unfair 2nd place prize money of like £1.1 million? Pretty sure thats what 2nd gets and 1st gets £1.3 million then it drops to 400 k to 3rd/350 k for 4th etc.. or some shit. Obviously designed to just give the OF a roughly equal and lions share of the money each year!

Swiss league has had two winners in the last 10 years, Basel and Zurich... I'll give you Denmark with 4 winners in 10 years and Ireland with 5. Absolutely no grounds for comparison though as these countriesay have a few bigger clubs the don't have two colossal monstrosities!

This is almost word for word what I have been saying about bigger leagues in every post I have ever made! Bigger league - MORE competition. Perfect and a fact!

Spot on. Every argument for small leagues /status quo is about money and tv deals. Small leagues/status quo STIFLE COMPETITION and create BOREDOM. If we had a bigger league and played everyone twice BOTH those problems would be helped. There will of course be less money as sky want more 'big' games 4 times a season so will pay less and there are of course more mouths to feed. But everyone will be in the SAME boat. It will still be 11 v 11. So every team cuts a couple of overpaid journeymen from their squads and replaces them with 17 year olds from the youth team. (hardly a bad thing!) And will we really notice a difference? Like I said every team will have to do it. The pay off from cloth cutting anyway is you have less games against the old firm and 'bigger' spl teams stop playing each other every other week which just cuts each others throats leading to no chance of a title challenge. Teams with good youth set ups like us, Hibs, etc.. will still have enough about them to accrue points against the smaller clubs and get closet to Celtic. Also it would add excitement to each game as it is the only time that fixture will be played for a year, maybe almost 2! And if Sky don't like then apples they can ram it. They are the problem anyway.

The problem with 12-12-18 is that in reality nothing really changes. (eh MJ...?!) We will play Hibs, Killie, Hearts, Inverness etc 4 times a season if we are all in the top 8 leading to the same boredom problems as now not to mention everyone STILL having to play Celtic (and eventually The Rangers) 4 times meaning no competition at the top as potential title challengers all drop points to them too often while cutting each others throats every week too! So the 'New' league system creates boredom and lack of competition... Seriously is everyone that thinks this is the way forward on glue?

Everyone was absolutely honkin' last night but the player who annoyed me the most was Fraser Kerr. He is murder and and granted only had a few minutes but he came on had the last chance to send the ball up the line at 2-1 and took an extra couple of touches fucked it up and booted the ball out of play!! Fucking scandalous!

Moving the Scottish Cup date was a total fuck up.Why dont they just have the Scottish cup 4th round as the first game back after the winter 'break'. everyone would be giddy for it.

That was a bogin performance. No ideas no creativity, actually no-one on the park seemed to give a shit either. 4 defeats in a row. Zero goals. Utter garbage. Our season is in danger in petering out. And it's not even November.

When was this picked for TV. thought it was just one of these fri night games. I have never in my life just stumbled upon a live Well game while flicking through the channels!!!

Piss poor. Hardly a shot at goal all day. Hearts were there for the taking but as usual this Motherwell team couldnt grow a set of balls and take a game to a team.
